That's what kills me in Stage 6! Stage 5 and that cat, Orin, in Stage 5 rapes me of my lives! Stage 6, I admit, isn't that hard. Sure I lose a couple of lives, but that's usually all I have because of that damn cat! She's easier in Stage 6, but 5......ugh. When I have 3 or more lives on St.6, I can clear the game no problem, but that rarely happens. Orin is cheap, no, not fair at all (unless you're really good I guess), just cheap. Orin's my least favorite Touhou character. -_-

I really think Utsuho was one of the coolest end stage bosses in Touhou, but at the same time, one of the easiest. I only play normal and I can beat the Heaven and Hell card on Expert XD

EXAMPLE: Defeat Utusho and she turns into a nuke. in which she blows up. with you being blown to pieces = your suicidal if you beat utusho

Okuu is quite funny in a way. Almost all the bosses in SA have complex spellcards that require you to find the trick to the pattern. Utsuho? She's a lot like Marisa in Imperishable Night in that she rather goes down the MOAR DAKKA! route, forcing you to rely on raw dodging skill most of the time.

I can't help but notice how the last two spellcards in Lunatic seem to be literal copy/pastes of the Normal mode versions...I played it on Normal a couple hours ago, which leads me to think I should stop playing on Normal >.>...except the stages will kill me XD

SA is the only game I can`t clear on freaking easy mode. Even with continues setting you on the beginning, UFO has red (life) UFOs and MoF isn`t that damn hard.

I came close to beating Utsuho, but clipdeath on Hell's Artificial Sun killed me. And Lunatic version - Subterranean Sun = lolhax.

Touhou - putting back "hell" in bullet hell since 2002.

And, is this a replay or a freaking live run? Because my game glitches replay on Utsuho and character doesn`t move.

At least SA's final boss is awesome (and her music!) so it's actually worth getting through Stage 6.

Yeah lol. This boss is pretty easy and fun on Easy mode but the hard part is getting there. I usually lose all my lives in Stage 5.

I fail so incredibly hard at this and MoF. I can 1CC the other games on normal at the least and beat the lunatic AI in PoFV a reasonable amount of the time, but SA on normal always ends in me running out of lives as soon as I get to Yuugi's last noncard.

Utsuho's final spellcard may look pathetic, but,for now, it is the only spellcard in Touhou, which causes an alternate gravitation. I think, ZUN really tried to surprise the players here. I hope there will be more tricks with gravitation in the further series :)

Easy mode IS diffcult! IMO. I cleared IN Final B on normal and final A on both hard and lunatic. And I can't even beat easy on this one. XD

Bullet hell shooters are like that.. once you get used to the frenetic pace of the hard levels, the easy ones can become difficult because you're EXPECTING things to be insanely fast.

I used to play Time Pilot (a very old bullet hell game) and I always found the transition from stage 5 (the last original) to stage 6 (a slightly faster version of stage 1) to be deadlier then most of the other stage transitions.. simply because it seemed too slow.

How did you suck in the points at the bottom of the screen? Or is it something that's only available in lunatic mode?

when you graze a lot, your bar at the bottom left gets gradually bigger and bigger, and once it starts flashing, it autocollects everything in the screen at full point value.

If your bar isnt flashing, its not going to collect items at full point value either, you can make it flash by going to the top of the screen or by grazing, if you dont graze a lot, your point multiplier will be very low and the items you grab will be worth very litte.
