These students didn't just earn Associate's degrees. 21 are first-generation college graduates, 17 made the dean's list, 10 graduated with honors, & 1 made the president's list (4.0 overall GPA). They are an example of what can happen in an educational environment where the expectations are high and students are given the tools and support needed to meet those expectations, as opposed to simply lowering the bar when they struggle. They are but the first of many more to come. GO PHOENIX!!!
