Ron Paul, along with ten co-sponsors, is once again seeking to allow for the commercial farming of industrial hemp.House Bill 1866, The Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2009, would exclude low potency varieties of marijuana from federal prohibition. If approved, this measure will grant state legislatures the authority to license and regulate the commercial production of hemp as an industrial and agricultural commodity.

natural oils can be extracted form hemp, anything can be made from hemp from explosives to plastics..

@RoviRoviJ I agree, but many laws around the world are influenced by the United States. I do think the whole world needs to have the knowledge that cannabis hemp is the most versatile plant on earth but policy change needs to start here in the US & then maybe other countries will follow suit. Countries like France, China, Russia & Canada already have a huge hemp industry. Its about time we do as well.
