You are wrong and right. Howard did encourage artie to take a break from the show, so he could get better. Howard never fired him though. How often after KC left did you hear from him? Almost never. Artie has been in the news a bit sense he left. The only reason there isnt a day by day update about him is because Howard said to his new staff leave Artie alone. Howard has said on multiable occasions that Artie is one of his best friends. KC was basically just an intern.
