Something similar happened to me. I was in McDonalds and suddenly all the lights went out, there were no flying sparks, I knew it was a power cut because the ermgency lighting system had came on, I could also see the lights in the other buildings had the ermgecny lights on. There was a cinema to, I'm guessing that all the lights and the movie were out in there to, imagine if someone was watching a horror movie! :S
