both are great guns and will probably last you forever. i own a mechanical us5 (modded ofcourse) and it works great. IIve used a BT 4 and its good from what i can tell, but people who own them say that they are very solid, so id say go with the one that's cheaper.

although if i were you, i would save up a bit and buy the electric version of the PCS or BT, and then buy a force feed hopper, like a ricochet or something. then a get a double trigger.

Try ebay, you cna pick one off at like 50-70 dollars US. But beware, if you run co2 with this gun you might ruin some components use high pressure air instead. Otherwise this gun is very accurate with an aftermarket barrel and the right paint.

this guy is fucking retarded..... i can take 3 shots from my gun in mid-run and at least 1 will hit my target, always...why would u want to waste $30 in balls spraying to hit some one. anything more than single shot with an 18inch barrel and red dot scope is pointless. no one is ever going to be so far that u need a scope and u will never need a stock because it hinders mobility and even if ur doing woodsball and lying down in the grass,use ur muscles and hold it steady

Look down the gun, you easily see the paintball flying through the air. Stocks? There's barely any recoil at all in the first place.

i have this gun with a double trigger and i went paintballing 2day. i use a empire reloader b and 48/3000 tank and i did pretty well. full auto is only accurate at about 70 feet or less i would say

Why not just go with the A-5, it's a better gun. You can put the response kit on it. I mean, if you're into that auto electric shit, have fun not playing at most US paintball fields where auto/ramping isn't allowed... A-5 with response shoots at auto speeds and is still considered semi. And once the RT is on, throw on an apex or flatline and youll out gun a PCS any day. A-5 is the better choice. (unless you just play in your backyard or just want to show off on youtube)

this is an awsome gun!! heavy duty can use all A5 stocks can use Spyder and piranha barrels and of course PCS barrels.. AND supposidly if you take the adapter out of the gun tippmann a5 barrels will click into place insted of twisting in it has a similar feedneck to the 98 custom except it clips at the side insted of ontop and the internals are way different.. you can buy the electronic trigger frame upgrade for like 60 bucks and you can now get nice aluminum internals for the gun for 30$ by JCS

75 bucks is alright for this gun.. it looks exactly the same as the A5 if you get the black version just without cyclone and it has a metal body insted of a plastic one like the A5.. it can take a beating thats for sure.

nope the only real difference between the guns is BPS this gun feeds up to like 12-15 bps where as an a5 cyclone is what 20 or 25? then again I honestly have never shot more then 3bps since I use 3 burst.. supposidly you can use some a5 internals but you sand down the bolt and stuff so it isnt really worth it and you can use a custom 98 cyclone mod kit on this gun supposidly i've seen a few guides on how to do it so with abit of effort you can make it just as good as an a5 but with a metal body.

My PCS actually feels a bit more solid than the Tippmann. it feels slightly more rugged. The PCS isnt any better or worse than the A-5, unless u consider the Cyclone..but its $100 bucks more due to it. I think PCS actually paid Tippmann to manufacture the guns:P. All Tippmann A-5 upgrades work with the PCS too....haha. in my opinion, ur better of with the PCS, and if u have to, spend 70 bucks on an electronic hopper.

my friend has a tippmann A-5 and ive got a PCS and i can tell you this......they are literally identical, they are visually and mechanically identical!!!!!. The Tippmann has a built in cyclone feeder....BUT! theres no point in the cyclone feeder unless u get an E-Grip A-5.my friend has a normall A-5, and theres no need for a cyclone. whos gonna shoot more than 8 BPS with a single trigger?um,superman maybe. both guns are great, but, the cyclone makes the tippman less reliable, cause it can break

the cocking pin never move when you fire with this gun, because the cocking pin is not linked to the bolt, so when you fire, it doesnt move. similar product like tippmann A5 or tippmann x7 has this non movement cocking design too.

ur dumb it's 16''. barrels over 16'' are less accurate or no change at all and it also depends on the one you get it's the bore mach and what the barrel is made out of that really changes accuasy ur best bet is to go with a 14'' opsgear barrel or the apex

Length has little to do with accuracy, as long as you are longer than 8". If 16" was the optimal length, they would be making 16" inserts (the longest inserts I know of are 6"). The biggest factor in accuracy is paint to barrel match.

I have a 8", two 12", two 14" and a 16". That being said, the accuracy of each barrel will depend on the size of paint i'm shooting that perticular day.
