  • Really, who the fuck cares? I was never fortunate to go through Airborne in my Army career, but I definitely got my blood stripes when I hit E-6, from my father even. I loved it.

  • This really sick shit,

  • "there is also a side you have NEVER seen"

.....and it looks pretty gay! LOL

  • i had this happen when i got my lcpl chevrons. but it was only done my squad leader. 30 guys damn that must have sucked

  • This is voluntary. What the fuck are people complaining about?!?

  • If you have never seen a set of yellow footprints, kindly shut the fuck up because you will never, ever understand where we are coming from no matter how "Barney Style" we can break it down. If you have never served in the Fleet because you couldn't hack hazing lite in SOI, then you should also shut the fuck up because you washed out well before you could understand.

  • @M2490311 you got that right....the only thing my Plt. Commander told my Sgt.'s the day I picked up E-4 was "...as long as he is combat ready in the morning..." I didn't take anything on this level, but still proud that I earned my blood stripes from every nco in our company. Semper Fi

    USMC '01-'05

  • If the pinning brings them closer together and after its all done if the marine feels proud about what he went through than keep on pinning.

  • @BDFPA we all know about war profiteering. everybody knows that those piece of shit politicians make money from this shit. the point of my comment is that we need to be ready when theres a real threat. i get the feeling your lying about going to war. i dont give a shit you could be anybody behind that keyboard but from my experience its usually teenagers making shit up.

  • lol the way they tell this like they were forced goldwingers are proud of getting through it. "forced to guzzle beer' LOL you gotta be kidding me. coming from people who know nothing about marines.

  • Comment removed

  • @BDFPA LOL have you ever fought one bitch? NO GTFO

  • why are they bitching? alot worse things could happen.

  • nice

  • wait will this hazing happen to me?what will they do and what rank people do they do it to? is it for sure?

  • it is private, because you own the emblem doesnt mean you own the right for that unit ive seen 200 guys lined on ramp in pedleton to give me e-3 rank thank,s to nature i got e-4 in phillipines thats where you really earn your title when you get your blood stripe absolutly agree with this

  • If you get hazed and you don't want to be you're just stupid

  • Comment removed

  • Good training!!!

  • oooh fuckin rah

  • Is there a specific MOS you have to have to get the Golden Wings?

  • A hazing? That is brutal, but since it started around VN than it aint that bad... honestly, if you were a captured marine in VN the NVA, VC, PLAvietnam, would beat the shit out of you like this for years, and they'd just keep you alive to do so. hazing is saying your toucher than any mother fucker out there. the marines who did it knew what they were doing because they went through it, it doesnt fucking matter if they have their pins stabbed through them, if you survive that your tough shit.

  • Lol , this doesn't happen anymore.

  • @zachfresh

You must be a fuckin' POG or a BL who thumps regs...

  • @meanmarine85 sew*

  • @ReallyLav the spartans also used forced homosexual rape as a way to discipline troops and repeatedly lost battles against other city states they considered inferior and weak.

  • All of us in my unit, won't say specifics or military branch, had to endure an initiation. Again, no specifics, but it was not pleasant. It's the other members' way of saying "welcome to the brotherhood, we accept you as a warrior, but do not forget your place." A sort of "you're good enough to fight along side us now." However, there are still lines to be crossed.

  • @WithSteel "but do not forget your place" what the fuck does that mean? did you enjoy being put in your place?

  • and think they r better than all the other branches.

  • @kasfami i've served with all branches and i've met a helluva lotta soldiers i'd rather have with me in combat than a lotta marines i served with.

  • @madmike19682003 yeah ive heard a few people tell me that. and its not all marines that r bad. some actually have respect for other branches and honor the title marine. then u have the tough guys on youtube...

  • @kasfami

In the US, we are. It's different than the Army because we are a small, lightweight shock force (we have small numbers, even less infantry) and the Army is an occupational force. We receive better and more hands-on training than army types. It has to do with our number of bodies being trained versus theirs. When you have a class that has 30 people as opposed to 300, the class with 30 is going to be better taught. You must have a death wish or are lying about the Army bit...

  • hmm very interesting. alot of big bad marines commenting about taking the pain and being tough. Well hey if thats what u want then fine who am i to judge. in a marine's eyes im a future pansy that will be goin into either the navy or air force. the only pain ill ever suffer is gettin a paper cut lol. and thats fine with me. y not take an easy job that u would love, serve your country and live a lavishing life style. sleepy in a hole is not my calling. btw this is for the marines who r assholes

  • Not enough ephasis on the fact that the Marines performing the "passage of rite" went through the same initation as well. .... & the Marines that passed the final exam will be passing it onto the next set of new wings. To all the nay sayers: Stick to sewing skirts & cluck'in it up in the hen house.

  • @djmooreUSMC Whatever you say, I earned every thing I've ever received, I was "pinned" that wasn't so bad, but I've witnessed a marine get jumped and beaten the shit out of for no reason other than "camaraderie". Lets just say those marines all received njp's and the nco was put up for court martial. If you agree to some shit than screw it, but if it's against your will, then I consider that inappropriate.

  • I want to be winged one day. People just dont understand

  • Comment removed

  • @BDFPA he was a pussy then. Getting pinned is what makes that shit official. We live for it.

  • @BDFPA

I call bullshit with a side of POG. NOBODY escapes getting their BS.

  • ive gotten mine and loved every oz. of blood that poored out

  • Americans should just be happy we have the meanest sons of bitches under the sun fighting for them

  • Fuck mothers of America! Let the Marines be Marines!

  • never showed the "scar" did he

  • time out he has wings the general does did yall see that i wonder if he went thru this

  • I HAVE SEEN MORE PAIN ,BLOOD AND SCREAMING IN A DELIVERY ROOM AND MANY WOMEN GO THROUGH IT MORE THAN ONCE . 31 YEARS LATER I STILL HAVE MY BLOOD WINGS . SEMPER FI

  • Something tells me the reporter in this video has never been shot at, dodged IEDs, gone days on end without sleep, or killed local animals for food.

  • its not hazing if the guy agrees to it, just like how its not rape if the other person agrees to it

  • @M2490311

fucking chinese field days. lol. i remember when theyd make us actually take our shit *out* of the barracks to the parking lot.

  • 7 years in tibet!

  • @meanmarine85 all bullies are cowards.

  • its fucking reporters like this faggot that fucked the marine corps. if your not willing to go through the shit we do then shut the fuck up. dont tell us how to do business. we do business like this for a fucking reason and we dont expect you to understand we just want you to shut the fuck up and let us defend YOUR freedom

  • @flepnar1990 yeah but most guys who do this to other marines are the biggest cowards i met in the service. plus they didn't even have the balls to do this by themselves, they need backup.

  • @madmike19682003 i can already tell you dont know what your talking about

  • @flepnar1990 i spent 4 years in the infantry. ganging up on the new guy while you have your friends backing you up is not how you make good marines. tough realistic training is, i got way more out of wrestling and college martial arts than i ever got out of the marines.

  • @madmike19682003 i respect your opinion then if your telling the truth. but iv been through it too and the ones who did it to me went through it too. yea i think it should be one on one cus they ganged up on me too i agree with you i think its cowardly. but i also think its meant to make you tough. thats just my opinion

  • @madmike19682003 What unit were you with?

  • @M2490311 2nd plt charlie co 1/6 from 89 to 92

  • @madmike19682003 Right on...3/7 Lima here. Bite the apple, fuck the stumps!

  • @flepnar1990 lol, buddy you are not defending our freedom. Get that through your thick skull.

  • @BDFPA your not even from the US dumb ass what do you care? prolly never been in the military either. so everything you know is secondhand

  • just make it so people can fight back. counsel them on the rights they have regarding self defense. fuck rank, if someone hits you than you get to hit them back. all bullies are cowards and if you can hit back that will stop this dumb shit in record time.

  • WARRIORS

  • As a marine, I believe in hazing, certain things are a little too much, such as pinning or "earning" your blood stripes.

  • @chjopa That's just because no one felt you rated to get your stripes and you went to bed the night of your promotion with shame in your heart. Understand that, devildog?

  • Robbo9933 you are full of shit! Man up that you couldn't make it in Recon you pussy! I was a recon corpsman and pinning is a special ceremony

  • @meanmarine85 The thing is, is that these fucked up Marine are the FUCKING PUSSIES. It takes REAL MAN and a REAL MARINE to stand up against this BULLSHIT. There were a couple Gunnys that were sent to the hospital when thought it would be funny to pin my Corporal stripes on. In my day, Recon had the highest rate of Courts Martial for child mollestation (having sex with someone under 16 that was not their wife) and rape and discharge for homosexuality. This video explains alot.

  • hahahahaha.... when they are not inflicting pain on innocent people in other countries they do it to each other. poetic justice.

  • its a little needle and some punches, that shit will heal soon enough. that reporter has probably never even felt a punch in his life. Marines must be able to ignore pain to accomplish the mission.

  • First memory of the corps..."Welcome to Parris Island motherfucker!"

  • If someone isn't getting hazed then somethin' is seriously not right. Drunk field days, fashion shows, pinning, Chinese field days, running the sand monster till you can't feel your legs or just a good ol' fashioned thrashing. We aren't in the business of making pussies and anyone who joins the Marines who really thinks they won't get some either has a great car salesman at their RSS of they are...Stoopid

  • @M2490311 so then you have no problem with new marines fighting back and doing to you what you try and do to them?

  • @M2490311 Boot Camp still have hazing?

  • @M2490311 0311 and 11B are some of the only people who will understand.I got my blood stripes in Fallujiah in '04. I rolled to the chow hall 10 feet tall with blood running from my collarbones to my name tapes. The fobbits and POG's looked at all of us that were promoted that day like we were crazy. Now those marines in Hawaii are in trouble for hazing a marine 'till he killed himself in the stan.Nevermind the fact that the shitbag was falling asleep on guard. The whole military is gettin soft.

  • @M2490311 True dat. If anyone needs me, I'll be running my boots up sugar cookie.

  • @M2490311 man what the fuck is wrong with you we are people not animals or savages or thugs

  • @semdavidanger Shut the fuck up, hippy. It's an initiation and had you the balls to join, you'd understand why we do shit like this. And yes, people ARE animals, savages and thugs. Even tree huggers like you. Name your cause and I'll show you how you are a hypocrite to said cause.

  • @M2490311 i'm in the marine corps bruh that's fucking degrading if i was a CO and saw that shit happen under my command i would court martial everybody that took part in it

  • Yes it is hazing. Yes it happened. Most initiations can be called hazing. The Marine Corps no longer tolerates this. So get over it. And Marines are not soldiers!!!

  • you have no room to talk bitch you aint a Marine so you don't get it.

  • Do they do that in the marines infantry?

  • @pleasingteasing

Naw, when you check into your unit they usually hook up a 96 and throw you a big party.

  • @meanmarine85 In that case criminals and violent felons would be your preferred comrades. You sound like one yourself. Also, studies done in the Soviet and Russian military show a higher rate of desertion and retreating during combat precisely because of the constant abuse. Only a really sick individual would condone what was shown on this video.

  • @preemptivestrike20 yeah it ain't for everyone. what people like you who are not Marines don't get is that these guys would take a bullet for you in combat also. it's a passage of acceptance.

  • @meanmarine85 Yes it isn't for everyone. It isn't for people like you who break the rules and abuse defenseless fellow soldiers. I bet you sexually abuse people as well, huh? You're a sick person and you should not have the honor of being in the military or given any sort of weapon.

  • @preemptivestrike20 "defenseless soldiers"? oxymoron, much?

  • Just leave Marines traditions alone. No one dies from it.

  • this stuf isnt bad and lil girls who aren down with it shouldnt b in the corps.. yea i think there is a line.. but yes every marine sholdb pind. being pinned is tradition that lives with u forever

  • @bulldog1879 and people who cant spell shouldn't comment on youtube

  • I'm Marine, but I won't let anyone shove those pins in my chest, hell with that.

  • I remember how it was, PISS ME THE FUCK OFF when they punch me in the chest. I already earn my wings I don't need to deal with that shit.

  • abusing fellow marines is not how you toughen them up. letting them fight back is. none of these sick bastards would have the balls to mess with someone who can fight back. i know because i spent 4 years in the infantry fighting against this stupid shit and these marines do not like people who fight back and stand up for what's right. i always refused to join in the hazing and instead told new marines how to reseist it. i honestly don't know which pissed off the other marines more.

  • duh its part of the tradition! the marines are losing alot of their hazing traditions. Everybody needs to keep their mouths shut and leave the hazing to their peers

  • all branches of service do that though! the pinning of Aviation wings on the chest has been done for decades

  • i was in the marine corps and it was not elite at all. it's just a bitchy little army that speaks navy lingo. any unit that allows people with i.q.s under 100 is not elite at all. all these punks on this film are a bunch of stupid kids who are not sure of they're masculinity. p.s chesty puller was a cock smoking fairy!

  • @madmike19682003 i doubt you were ever a marine. and if you were youre obviously a fucking pog.

  • @oogalyboogaly wrong answer. i spent 4 years as a 0311 and got out with a honorable discharge. now tell me about your service war hero.

  • Fucking dumbass reporters first you badger the guy who supports it then you get desk riding officers saying how bad it is. Screw that its a tradition and a ritual. And it won't stop liberals we still do it if you get wings and when you become an NCO you don't understand so don't judge us

  • Semper Fi Marines!!!

  • I have abosolutley no sympathy for him because he did it to other people

  • Civilians would never know its like going through the tear gas after words u feel like you can take anything you get the same feeling off getting pined

  • no one in this video ever said the word "masculinity".... what does that signify to you?

  • He signed up period. Why does he need to put this on tv?

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, that's pretty intense. I can understand taking it from a few of them....just suck it up and take the pain...but 30? Damn, that's gotta suck. Props to them. Its gay how the civilian world looks at hazing though. We do what we do. Why do they have to get involved...or even know about it? The Marines are the hardest branch out there. Why do civilians always want to make us softer? I heard scuzzing isn't even aloud in Boot Camp anymore? Is that true?...Anyone?

  • "You know when you make a jump you go, 'I can't wait to get pinned.'" He chose that lifestyle and everyone knows that that means.

  • the best part about hazing is once it happens 2 you u get to do it to the next guy thats why it work every one in that video that was doing it had it done to them

  • An officer on scene while the hazing ceremony is going on, can this shit get any worse?

  • Comment removed

  • onesided look

  • This was in 1991 and it was a bonding ceremony. It has been stopped. They are combat Marines for god's sake. Perhaps we should give them h.j.'s and candy bars and teach them to kindly ask the terrorists to stop killing people.

  • This is ridiculous. I can understand one person slapping the medal on somebody one time. But not 30 people taking turns torturing one guy.

  • They actually bite the medal. Why don't they suck each other's titties why they're at it?

  • Once your gold wings have been pinned on only another gold winger can touch your wings. That sounds pretty fucking gay to me.

  • This Walter guy is a fucking POG!!!! he needs to shut the fuck up!

  • I am currently a civilian. 18 years old still in high school. I think I can somewhat understand this. It's a bonding ritual. It means that you are part of a selective group in the marine corps.

Ready for someone to disagree with me

  • Civilians will never understand this shit...

  • @unstrunghero17 please...

  • @Darusdei Please what? Why don't you "please" suck my balls

  • @unstrunghero17 grow up and stop being so pathetic

  • Walter Bansley was a fucking POG...a desk jockey...he spent his time in the service pushing penciles and dealing with papercuts behind a fucking desk...he never had to put his life in a nother mans hands...so fuck him and what ever he has to say about the corps

  • they're doing this volountarily...

  • Wtf this is a ritual my dad went through that when he was in the Corps in the 70's too! Also, when they get their stripes down the side of their leg, their platoon takes turns punching down th side of the stripes and by then you can not even walk, let alone stand

  • that's fucked up, better be some awesome benefits to this club.

  • Retarded and gay military bitches, fuck this shit

  • I'm insulten by the first few seconds..."A Few Bad Men" REALLY?! Unless these news reporters were actually in the Marines they need to shut the fuck up.

  • @IluvKirito The reporters are liberals. They will never understand, and they will never shut up.

  • civilians can't be expected to understand. it's retarded when they try. they should just stay out of the military's business all together. especially when it comes to tradition. it's probably a tradition for a reason dipshit.

  • IM DADS IN IT!

  • that shit makes true marines
