  • I love this one! It's one of my favorites of yours.

  • @pollyandfriends - Thanks Alli! This is one of my favorite ones too, I love being able to see raccoons do raccoon things (instead of just ripping up my feeders all the time -- although I love that too! :))

  • @DejaxBlue - Thanks! I absolutely love watching kits explore around, especially when they vocalize - I *love* their chittering noises!

  • they are beautiful. thanks for the video )

  • @rajahua - You're welcome! Thanks for checking in! :)

  • You can very well deal with the light. I can still see that it is night. There is not to much, just enough light, to show well the stage and the actors. And you have very good actors!!

  • @mbhsug - Definitely do! It's interesting that most raccoons don't seem to mind the light - some of them do, but most just keep foraging. It's very cool to be able to get so close to them camera-wise to see little intricacies in their movements! Thanks for the comment, I"m glad that you liked it!

  • This one is so cute! Love the kit. :D

  • @bevscorner - I'm glad you liked it! I absolutely love raccoon kits - :)

  • Nice and entertaining videos as usual:)

  • @poemsforcreation - Thanks for saying so!

  • adorable

  • @zamusicza - They are! That family now brings 4 different kits out when they forage! I need to make a video of that sometime soon...

  • awww.. the li'l baby! so cuuute!

    Thanks! :-D

  • @audiocoffee - You're welcome! BTW, I shot a squirrel video last week that you're going to love - need to work on it a bit...

  • That's great! Love it.

  • @Katsnake11 - Thanks Kat! :)

  • Zach, this video is wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing it. :-)

  • @lizzie9208 - You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it!

  • Raccoons are such good moms, and must have a deep well of patience! Too cute.

  • @SunChaserWildlife - Definitely! They don't hesitate to put their foot down either - :) If it would be even possible to do a video of it, I would love to do a retrospective on a raccoon's life from start to finish - in the den, as a kit, growing up, finding a mate and having it's own kits - that would be awesome to produce such a thing!

  • @CanadianBeaver - Thank you! Right back at you - :)

  • Nice job again, Zach! Thumbs up! :o)

  • @SpiritWhiteFox2 - Hi Beanie! Thank you so much for saying so! I hope everything's going well on your end!

  • This is such a great video!!! I loved how the mom dragged him back. I think raccoons are cute the way they rub the food with their paws, as if to clean it first.

  • @Ginnymo62 - Thank you for saying so! Me too! Their hands are some of the most sensitive parts of the raccoon, and touch is one of their most important senses - I think they're trying to "feel" what they're eating to make sure it's what they want before they actually put it in their mouth.

  • heheheheh!

  • @debcoart - :) They're just so fun to watch!

  • You caught a fascinating family drama!

  • @handmudra - I did! I was so excited when I saw them do that, and then wondered if I had recorded it for about an hour after that - :)

  • I ♥ Raccoon! Always so much fun watching ur video,, My Momma Raccoons and Kits keep me busy. They are always into something,.. LOL! The other night 7 came to my slider door,, my Cat was not happy.

  • @NaturesFairy - Hehe... I'm sure they were like "...deal with it!" I'm glad you liked it, I'd love to have raccoons that actually come up to the door! I can just imagine how much mischief that 7 of them can do at once!

  • That was so adorable!!! You capture such amazing things with your cameras!

  • @Wolfie714 - Hi Marguerite! Thank you for saying so!

  • That is so cute! I wonder what the horrible danger was? But the sooner the baby learns that "Momma knows best" the better for all of them. At least that's what I keep telling my kids, lol. Great Video!

  • @2skittles4u - Hehe... "listen to yer mother!!" :) Thanks! I'm not sure, but it might have been my camera moving - just slightly, but possible. I think this raccoon is a first year mom, so she's a bit more skiddish than some of the more experienced mothers... Although this year has been a LOT better than last year (I didn't even really get many chances to see the kits last year), so I'm glad they decided to venture out together!
