Bravo! I played this in1977 with our Junior Symphony. Sure there are a few rough spots but for the most part I enjoyed it.

nice job between 5:45 and 6:00! That's one of the nastiest spots to get in tune...it drags around 8:27...
I thought it was great! Your intonation is acceptable. Great performance on a tough piece.

i dont know what you people are talking about but we are playing this same song and it sounds like that. And i would know because we are the only school in texas that have the most students enter the state high school orchestra. It could sound too heavy because of the rooms acoustics. We have the same problem hearing sections in our orchestra room because of that problem.
And dont post things on here that arent nice! Songs like this are hard work for the soloist. Give them some credit!

it might be because of the recording, the orchestra might not be that bad
they might have had to adjust their tempo and style to the soloist
