I think they chose to do this one song because it sort of fits with the whole meaning of live8 etc, "room for one more son" referring to the many starving children in africa, and how they need Gods help, which the song refers to a lot, but thats just my opinion :)

Just like Queen stole the show first time around with radio gaga and the rest, there is no doubt that Brandon and the boys even though they only sang one song it was that one song and preformance i remembered the most, IT should go down as one of the best live preformances of the decade.

the killers are probably the best of the last few years.
each song on their albums are really great and are never really just "album filers" if u know wat i mean lol.
like their new album day & age, if im listening to it i listen to every song nd dont even skip any cos there all suchh goooooood songs. Haha reply to me if u agree or not id like to know ya opinion?

Yeah, they're singing. When they played this song live, the choir's mics weren't working. I think there's a version somewhere (DVD, if I'm correct) where they fixed this problem. : )
