  • You said anyone born in Brazil is Brazilian. Does that apply to anyone who might be illegal or tourists?

  • @rb21122b ...illegal or tourists that have kids in Brazil?

  • @rb21122b I'm not sure. But I think so.

  • This was a very intersting and informative video, thank you for sharing!

  • I liked the video information but the sound quality is bad and difficult to understand..echo sounding

  • ignorant and GAY 0:17

  • Negro isn't nigger lol, bit of a missunderstanding. But your right the exact translation negro does carry bad connotation. I think it's spelled the same in both languages. Correct me if I'm wrong

  • @anthonydukes2009 Not exactly the same... but I got your point.

  • Is it true that an American can escape to Brazil and never be caught after committing a crime in America?

  • @Tmanslick I'm not sure about it.

  • WE ROCK!

  • It's really cool stuff this video! :)

There are many similarities between Poland and Brazil :) I too don't know how it's possible to play a football game with hands -- American football is known here only as an element of US culture. Although rugby (which seems similar to Am. football) is played by several teams here. I don't know the rules of either... Frankly speaking, I don't care much about any sort of football :)

  • A game that carries some resemblance to baseball used to be a school sport activity here when my dad was a teenager. It's practically extinct now... except for the name -- "palant" which is still used in its secondary, colloquial meaning: "jerk, idiot" :) Baseball as such is virtually unkown.

Nascar? Come on! Motorsport is about taking corners, not going in circules! :D Having said that... Car rallying (which is the ultimate motorsport :P:)) is not very popular in Brazil either, is it? :)

  • Kissing strangers?! Body contact when meeting people for the first time? That's a no-go here :)) And we tend to view ourselves as hospitable and cordial, haha! :)

We tend to be fond of foreigners. I mean it. But... as far as the sense of nationality is concerned... Well, we have never had much immigration here, so people of different descent do stand out from the crowd. Especially that the language is really tough to master.

  • If you in a hurry and want to leave a 10 people meeting you would spend a few time just saying goodbye, kissing and hand-shaking everybody here :)

  • I've never heart about "palant".

there are a few rallying race here...but not so popular... I think the most famous one is "rally da independência" during the independence day.

  • Thank you Bartek! I know rugby, but it is not popular here. I don't to much about football either but I like to watch the Brazilian team matches.

  • I appreciate your commentary. You illustrate why I have fallen in love with your country, your culture, your language. I hope I can visit Brazil someday. I got a passport just for that purpose. Obrigada...

  • Thank you so much!

  • Nice job!

If you spoke english to someone about football, what do you prefer to say? Soccer or football? :-)

  • I would say "soccer" only if I'm talking to an american. :)

    Thank you!

  • True. But football is obvious to me. :-)

  • Great going, Marcio! You have covered a huge amount of territory and provided us with lots of interesting information. It's great not knowing which topic you are going to deal with next. Continue to keep us guessing!

  • I think it's better to do it with no special order. So, I can do anything anytime hehehe.

    Thank you!

  • Thank You for this information :)

  • You welcome! :)

  • hi buddy I think I would like to do a resonce video with the same questions, ok I will make up the questions and then make a video

  • Sure... Thank you!

  • I made a list of questions and tried to answer then and found it way to difficult to answer so I think I wil have to pass this time

  • Ok.. don't worry :)

  • Hi Marcio, you are a good ambassador of brasil. I must grin about the part with the aliens from brasil. Sometimes i feel like a alien to. ;-)

greetz from europe and have a nice day

  • Thank you! Geetings from here :)

  • Well, this kind of subject is wide and do not follow a specific rule, so, it is diffult to explain in this kind of video when I talk about specific situations and informations. Maybe I can answer to a specific question.

About a "special lady", I do not have anyone right now.

Thank you for the comment, I'll try to talk about this kind of subject... but I'm not an expert :)

  • No special lady? I dont believe that. You're a good looking young man.

  • Thank you :)

  • Marcioooo. I like this idea for videos! Maybe you could make a video about dating, boyfriends and girlfriends or something like that.

You can tell us about your special lady too. :)
