  • That dog was gone! Haha

  • 1.20 WHAT A GANGSTA.. SHE JUST ROLLS OUT WITH A CUP N A COAT LIKE ITS HOMETIME LOL

  • That guy did not get up because he sensed a quake he got up to see what scared the dog anyways if I had a dog I would want that dog even though I live in Illinois we have small earthquakes here too

  • what the hell was up with that last person??? get the F#CK out mozey!! lol

  • 1:19 lol.. she just dosent give a fuck haha!!

  • @WannaExpressYourSelf hahaha i fucking know lmao

  • god didnt kill people it was mother earth.

  • So sorry to see all the destruction. But that is God's wrath. Usually He drowns people but this time He changed His MO and crushes the life out of them.I think the people should change the name of the city to Shaky Flats.

  • Ephesians 2:8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

For further study - Ephesians 2:1-10

What a truth - the message of our key verse in our reading today, verse 8. It is the grace of our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - it is the grace by which we are saved. There was no work that I could do to be made pure, only the blood of Jesus Christ could cleanse me, and you, and make us whole.

    Thank you Jesus.

  • @spiritslain If you sincerely wish to provide people with something to "study", in order to better understand what is happening in the video, I would suggest Plate Tectonics, Seismology and Animal Sensory Systems as a better referral. But of course, I realize that YOU HAVE NO SUCH SINCERITY and that, you are merely trolling.... nothing better to do? Go back to school...maybe? Or just continue in the delusion that you KNOW something that educated people don't know... Up to you, almighty one.

  • @VirgilFoxMusic winning..

  • @spiritslain If you're a wingnut conspiracy theorist idiot the earthquake was caused by h.a.a.r.p,If you're a wingnut religious idiot the earthquake was caused by god.

  • DH had a dog that sensed their neighbor's seizure. The dog suddenly started acting weird and whining, nuzzling against the women, then she seized. DH said it happened one other time.

I sure hope this earthquake dog comes to work every day! Good doggie!

  • check out the person at 1:21 LOL! heaven forbid you forget your coffee and pillows.

  • @holly2233 when your COOL your COOL ;)

  • 6th sense bitches!!!!

  • The filing cabinet has ESP, too!

  • @ 0.04 blue shirt guy also reacts before the quake .....he must be a dog.

  • @mandar123new

Dude if ur dog just ran for its life suddenly, wouldn't you react?

  • Guys, based on I saw, we still can say that the fat guy also predicted the Earthquake because he started to get out of the place before the big shake. I think Dog just realized the place was shaking earlier. But it didn't predict. As a metter of fact, guys were working, therefore they were concentrated, so they realized later, that's it.

Obs: 0:02 to 0:03 the dog looks dow because he already felt the floor moving....

  • @Embraer091 It's more than that. The dog bolts, her owner goes "...wtf? Wait a minute..." because, in another video where sound is provided, you can hear the rumbling. That's when the guy gets up and makes a run for it once the quake happens.

  • maybe dogs got this instinct from falling rocks, trees or even dinosaur steps.

  • I was actually at home in mckinleyville when that quake hit... and trust me, it was pretty crazy!

  • That dog is thinking "I want hot dogs, hot dogs good, oh shit earthquake! I'm out bitches."

  • Look at all that asbestos!

  • Has no one noticed that at about 0:04 if you look in the very top right hand corner or the screen the camera begins to move, maybe undetectable to humans but the dog can feel it. Then at 0:11 the larger, more destructable surface waves arrive. the time between these seperate waves depends on the distance from the epicentre.

Im not saying animals dont have a 6th sence, but look at the evidence before jumping to conclutions?

  • Lol definitely not fake. When we had that earthquake here in SoCal in July 2008, I was cleaning a customer's swimming pool and their German Shepard started acting really nervous and started howling and barking. 20 seconds later the earthquake struck and their pool turned into a wave pool from a water park lol

  • That's normal! Almost all animals can sense an earthquake!

  • This is why I love dogs, they are cute and companionable, they protect you and can sense something bad that's going to happen. I have two dogs.

  • This is amazing! I do not know much about it, but look how Sophie hear something at 0:02 . I know that dogs can listen up to 60.000 HZ, looks like they hear it before us, ( just my opinion ).

    Nice dog.

  • when i was playing tennis, before the earth quake a dog started barking and started running away, and a lot of the other dogs around the park did so too, and then it hit. Animals tend to be able to sense it better than we humans can.

  • good dog!!

  • that aint your dog and the dog didnt start running til the the quake started whats wrong with you damn followers you didnt see the camra moving when the fat guy hindinberged himself in the middle of the rrom.yes dogs sometimes FEEL them before we do and get spooked it doesnt mean he senced it damn it

  • Can I haves Him? :} He's cooot :D

  • dog: "uhoh!, GET TEH HECK OU!"

    man:"what is he.....dodododododododod AAAAAAAHHH!"

  • Is the dog ok?!?! It ran the opposite direction of the exit everyone ran out of!!!

  • what a freaking smart dog!!

  • Well, @Alexanderzzzzon, if my dogs started to freak out, and i didnt know what iw as wrong,i would jump up too.

  • Animals are incredible.

  • There is a far away rumble that comes from benieth the earth that most animals can sense comming and that sets them off seconds before the earthquake hits. Its only seconds but they always know first.

  • that's a very smart dog to sense an earthquack like that

  • @puppylover350 No, we are very stupid animals to NOT sense an earthquake. We have lost our basic survival instincts by staying on a couch all day.

  • how come the camera was still running after the electricity went out? Battery power?

  • I really cant see why people think this video is fake. IS REAL PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!! Hello!!!!!! I mean everything in the office moves around. Light goes off. Debris from the roof falls. What else do you need? Also animals sense before an earthquake hits. You can watch other videos where animals are present and you will see them running right before the earthquake hits.

  • What happened to the dog!!??

  • ALIEN!!! AT 0:15!!!

  • its kind of fake because the things that look like bubbles are just flying and the office isnt shaking anymore

  • @sdfsz123 the things you call bubbles are particles that broke from the roof

  • wait, how come the old lady at the end,is so calm? lol

This is cool how dogs know b4 we even notice. <3 dogs. :)

  • @karlykool100 its normal for us in california,we get shocked at the first second, the next we know whats happening and that it will be over with shortly.

  • 0:15, AWESOME!

  • wait wait wait the better question is why is there a dog in an office with the camera coincidentally facing it o3o

  • dog: OMG LETS GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!! xD

  • and how about those 'orbs' and all that crap movin around. it MUST be ghostez too. trust me i watch Ghost Hunters.

    =]

  • if you pause it between 15 and 16 seconds, you can see that the second girl out is actually an ALIEN!

    proof that they caused it.

    i win. =]

  • what is that flying infront of the camera? rain? dust? sawdust? I wouldnt believe it would be snow!

  • i just love at the end the old lady is walking casually (:

  • it wasn't an earthquake! The fat guy farted, the dog ran to get away from the smell, the fat guy stood up and ran, which shook the building, resulting in disaster!!!

  • Retroboy is a little out of touch

  • superdog

    supersense

y la viejita del final todavia se preparó su cafesito

  • is that snow falling?

i believe animals can sense, but why would they take off running anyway? do dogs know that EQs make things fall off walls?

was the big guy just playing off the dog's reaction? he started to bolt, then froze when it started.

  • he probably saw a squirel..

  • WTF is doing your dog at your office

  • lady was the best at the end..

  • LOL @ the end. The lady just walks out with her coffee like nothing happened.

  • actually the movement starts at second 40, cause you can see in the left side of the screen how a drawer starts to slide out... but anyway the dog senses the quake before it happens... i agree with that....

  • Although we can tell the dog there is a cat outside and she'll go running EVERYTIME, THAT is why they are still two steps above some people I know!

  • yeah your dog seanse it "hey arent you forgeting something'

  • Isn't the reason animals like dogs sense the quake earlier that they can hear in much higher frequencies/lower frequencies than humans can? If you think about how loud an earthquake is for us, just try to imagine how loud it is to a dog.

  • Clever girl, as usual. When Pompeii was covered by Vesuvius, it is said not a single cat was among the victims.

  • Of course there wasnt. We had listened to the news the day before and had been warned about what was to come. Dogs would know as little as humans if we didnt beep them a message every once in a while. Out of pity only.

  • @PeachyPeachPie yeah i think that's what it is, cuz they have a bigger frequency range then humans, i used to think they had a like a sixth sense but I found on in my Music Engineering class, when my teacher mentioned that animals have higher frequency ranges

  • that is crazy it hasent even started shacking and the dog sophie runs out.Just an hour ago we had a small earthquake in San Bernardino and for no reason my dogs started barking and they aint any kinds of dogs i have a rotwiller a saint bernard and a hound dog

  • Animals can only warn you 2 maybe 3 seconds before the ground starts shaking and that is only because the shockwaves that are shot out when the fault ruptures... not a big warning but who knows maybe enough.. I hope my dogs warn us b4 the San Andreas goes

  • Yes the dog got out safely and can be seen in another video exiting the building. The dog went to warn its owner first.

  • Did Sophie get out of the building alright? I can't tell where she's running to :S

  • if yu look real carefully yu see some stuff knida shake a little just before the man gets up out of is chair and then when he gets in the center of the camera a major shake begins!

i live in australia so i have never witness or experienced any natural disaster besides rain hail and lightning(rainstorm) and obviously that isnt much

i read your blog about wat the dog does before the quake and that comes to show that to dog really did kno about the quake before an one else did

    GREAT WORK SOPHIE

  • all animals sense a earth quake which is why they take off early, all of em!

  • @tok4life420 nah, they have just better vibration senses, nothing special.

  • Look at the case on the left bottom of the screen. I think it was already vibriating but not visible on the camera

  • We should all be required to have a dog in the office. I can provide the dog for our office.

  • @hovawart16 Cats can sense this stuff too. They run under beds or tables or whatever. Dogs smell better, cats hear better, whatever.

  • @hovawart16 I am so with you on this! Let's start an initiative!

  • @hovawart16 I think everyone should be required to bring their dog in, just make sure they're groomed, and have a few poop baggies on ya, just in case.

    I fricken love dogs.

  • @hovawart16 I think everyone should be required to bring their dog in, just make sure they're groomed, and have a few poop baggies on ya, just in case.

I fricken love dogs. He starts sniffing the ground well before he runs. Amazing.

  • Why is there a CCTV in the office?

  • @mininow Because they can afford one and your office cant. lol

  • The quake starts when the big guy starts running. Coincidence?

    Nah. Sorry for that.

Im with "24kvideo". It's pretty cool how dogs function.

  • hahahaha the guy is to blame

  • @Alexanderzzzzon that's just wrong man!! .. but really funny too lol

  • @RandumAntix

    Haha I know xD

  • @Alexanderzzzzon If you note, before the dog takes off, it looks in the direction of what might be the door, the guy prob saw that, and jumped up to see what it was, and just then the quake hits.

  • @arcadelover

    Yeah, I figured.

But my theory is way funnier don't you think? ;)

  • @Alexanderzzzzon no it didnt it started before thats why he got up and ran to the middle of the room the dog ran when it very first started the dog didnt since it it felt the damn thing

  • @Alexanderzzzzon hahah run fat boy run

  • dogs also sometimes feel the moment their boss is dying. For example they start to cry with the nose up in the sky watching the house their boss is dying at that moment, that is so amazing dogs can feel that. I have a parrot, very human like, but dogs are so much more like humans. this also shows there is more between heaven and eath we know or understand of.

  • "but dogs are so much more like humans. this also shows there is more between heaven and eath we know or understand of. "

No it's because we've been training dogs for 15,000 years.

  • What is all that stuff flying through the air? It looks like dust or snow. Or is it water from the sprinkler system?

  • good girl!!!(#`ω´)∩

  • sophie says your on your own bitch im outta here.

  • hahaha

  • puede que tengas razón, a lo mejor se asusto al ver que sonaban los cajones.

  • I've known its true, but I've never witnessed it. Awesome. My dogs, however, will bark hysterically for a while after an earthquake. And eclipse, i discovered.

  • For that moment Sophie's best friend was her own life.... hahaha

    I'm glad you are Ok.

  • if you look closly at the file cabnet and the glass on the door u can see a vibration at the same time the dog ran

  • she knew it was coming at least 6 seconds before it hit. keep a dog next to ur bed people :)

  • Yea for Sophie !!! I see in the other video she got out. They really should clean up that office.

  • thank you ! I was wondering if she was safe! :)

  • The comments about the office being a dump make me laugh. That's what a typical newspaper office looks like. The lady with the coffee cracked me up, because I didn't think there was anyone else.

  • maybe that'll motivate them to clean up

  • Wow, thats incredible

  • That office looked like a dump before and after the earthquake

  • Actually, dog in S. Korea is rare , delicious, and is considered to be a delicacy . It is usually one of the most expensive items on the menu.

And yes, they DO breed them for food, and in some parts of Asia they keep pigs for pets.

Pigs are intelligent, easy to train, and also have a fight or flight reflex. There are 3 kinds of feral hogs in the U.S., we hunt them, and most are too dangerous for one dog to take on his own. You Sir, are a misinformed individual.

  • hope the dog is OK

  • @papajohn5656 Ther are some other vids showing the dog heading down the staircase and outside, she was fine :)

  • I heard Robin Quivers talk about this video on the Howard Stern Show (01/14/10) and had to watch!

  • actually, i know a few people who`ve eaten dog, and they said it tastes really good! lol, but yes, dogs are still awesome as pets :P

  • Comment removed

  • @jinxsabelle.. they wouldn't be "people" as far as i'm concerned. I hope those asian criminals and child molesters who eat dog aren't your friends.. if they took one step toward a dog, that would be the last step they ever took.

  • Very quiet this lady!! 1:20 :P

  • She probably dove under a desk and then when the shaking stopped figured it was ok to take her coffee and jacket with her.

  • That was so cool! My dog ebony started barking prior to it.

  • HAHA! Last lady is too funny maijn!

  • Notice that the last woman managed to get out with her coffee and jacket, she didn't even look like she cared

  • Interesting

  • I wonder when the dog found out that exit is the other way.

  • @drChaosssss

well apparently some of the PEOPLE in this building didn't know where the exit was EITHER!

  • Get a life buddy. They eat dogs in Asia. You can grow yourself a pig that will love you same as dog. Pigs just are not that cute right.

  • yeah, pigs suck.

dogs were bred to be pets/hunters. but most modern dogs are pets.

    pigs are bred for food.

    simple logic.

  • 1:19 haha, The look on her face is like

" Oh fuck who cares, As long as I have my coffee"

  • Wow the earthquake released all the ghost orbs!!! /facepalm to the ghosthunters

  • @stavosws6 Clearly you've never hunted a ghost before

  • @stavosws6 You, sir, win the internet. :D

  • Wow, that dog runs fast. It was all so fast... It's amazing how animals can sense things that we, humans, cannot. I know that in the tsunami that happened in Asia years ago, some people were saved because the elephants they were riding felt that the tsunami was coming and they starting running... It just truly amazes me...

  • There should be more studies about this.

  • I find it amazing that dogs and most other animals are so in tune with nature and can sniff out danger and disease, yet many religions think they have no soul or cannot tell the difference between right and wrong. Go figure.

  • If dogs were not domesticated but rather out in the wild they would be ravaging and killing other animals... including you if they were hungry enough. Would you think that they are sweet cuddly little lap dogs then? The same rule applies for every other animal in the world. Awareness makes us unique.

  • same applies to mankind

  • agreed

  • Same thing applies to humans. If you take away all their comforts, and they are left without food, shelter, clothing, water, etc., anarchy will probably arise. It has already started in Haiti. Ever read "Lord of the Flies?" ;) Animals are just as aware as we are, my friend, or else, how would they survive?

  • Actually, your comment applies to humans as much, or more, than other animals. It's just more pathetic, because we're supposed to have this 'awareness' of which you speak.

  • Great video I saw it on the news also. One thing..... that's not your dog

  • Great video but that's not your dog

  • i love the lade at the end that just walks out with her coffee like nothing happened!!! ROFLOL

  • I know XD

  • My concern also is the dog was running in the opposite direction as everyone else was that was exiting the room.. Looks like everyone made it out ok.. We all know a dog can sense someone coming in a house before we humans can....They have a sensitivity and an awareness and hearing that is better than ours along with a sense of smell that is off the chart... That is undenialbe.

  • Go to the footage of everyone going down the stairs. The dog shows in the far lower left corner.

  • damn*

    what happen to the doq?

  • She shows in the footage of the everyone going down the stairs and out of the building. Watch the far left lower corner.

  • It's actually 6 seconds before everyone even noticed!

  • The dog and the people inside likely felt the P-wave at exactly the same time. No sixth sense here. The light fixture vibrates at the very top left side. The dog feels the floor vibrate as the first P-wave hits, he looks down at the floor, then bolts. Then the cabinet on the left opens slightly. The guy feels the earthquake and jumps from his chair. Then about 2 seconds after the P-Wave, the S-wave strikes and thats when you see the strong side to side motion.

  • Man, that dog pinned her ears back and hauled ass!

  • @ar4216 lol

  • At 1:22 you can see an employee walk out with her coffee. I guess she was a little slow to react.

  • Yeah, that lady with the cup of coffee is too funny. I guess she really liked that coffee. If a earthquake doesn't wake you up in the morning damn.

  • look at the guys face he was like the dog lol

  • Wow, scary.

  • at the very top of the screen (watch it). it shake first then the dog ran.

  • Oh I see it!! The lightbulb(?) above the last 0 in 2010! It wiggles a bit!!

  • In almost all of the other videos you can see things shifting and moving at 17:21:38, which is when sophie jumps. yes, dogs are more sensitive than people, but if you can't see things in the ceiling shaking and glass shaking then she's really just more observant than her master.

  • What people need to realize, is dogs are born with nano sensors in there pads. They can feel movements way before us. Right now seismologist are compiling fleets of dogs near faults with rfid tags to track their movements before a quake hits. These animal's reactions will be tracked via gps and downloaded to a database that will send information to the emergency broadcast network for early detection.

  • "way before us" ? 1 second? awesome!

  • lolz at not being able to tell time

  • you what is say to me?

  • @blindedby2monkeys lol, one second could change a lot, just saying :D

  • go full screen and check the top right corner, you'll see a little bit of a light fixture, the dog runs as soon as there is some movement

  • If you look to the lower left of the screen, you can see a file drawer open slowly exactly when the dog gets up, that is because the earth shifted the building to a lean slightly, and the dog sensed it. The earthquake technically started exactly when the dog got up.

  • @itsjustadeer nice observation! Its crazy how animals react to such small differences in grade.

  • Thanks for posting this. Great footage.

  • scary just an hour ago there were 3 earthqukes

3:34 i was like wtf was that?

3:47 ok so it was an earthquake

    6:30 WTF EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol it was really funny but thankfully the one i felt were barely 4.0
