  • Im always sad with these kinds of musicals because in the end the guy gets the girl but in my end ill probably be alone forever... As always

  • Out of sync! Worst quality! Posted illegaly! Wow!

  • hes rude

  • 3:39

  • Why is this out of sync. It's driving me crazy. I can't beleive it. But that proves this was made illegaly.

  • AH! Them kissing= *Squeals* Love it!

  • Anyone else think the comment right before this one, by TibbsTheyCallMe, makes no sense at all!?

  • @musicalmeg19 hahaha it does make sense actually, he just didnt explain it enough

  • what was that he pulled out of his pocket. Was that the page from the journal because he put that in his other pocket. Sorry if I'm not making any sense lol

  • 0:20 Kristin biting her lip...I almost died!

  • Is it just me, or is her outfit reminiscent of mummy wraps? Or maybe they are trying to go for the "Grecian urn" look and went overkill... (and yes, I know it was Egyptians who mummified people and not the Greek)

  • i've never watched this whole movie but I am so lucky to hear this song

  • Comment removed

  • LOVE him. I've only seen this on Ovation (the musical channel) ONCE. Seriously, I cannot get enough of him/this scene/this rendition of the film.

  • 5:56 Makes me laugh every time

  • *kiss * SQUUEEEEEEE!!!!! XD

  • ok i just fell in love

  • How lucky can we be to get to hear kristin sing this?

  • We are doing this musical for our next production never seen it before but looks good we are having a cinema night at the hall tonight to watch it with food and drink cant wait!!!

  • Am I the only one who's noticed how much the dialogue and songs are rushed in the movie? At the risk of sounding prejudice based on the fact that I'll forever prefer the original version, the entire movie sounds like time constraints were considered over the making of what could have been a decent update.

  • All I can think of is the Wedding SInger....

  • Kristin is the only good thing in this movie

  • the thing about researching him sounds a lot like stalking him.XD

I crack up when they sing eachother's songs, too.XD

    I love to comment!LOL

  • and have you noticed during the song that Harold Hill looked like he like her that much? thats wat it looks like to me for some reason. oh adn when they sing together during the high note Harold Hill sings louder rather than higher. XD

  • I love this movie:) ♥ but ive wondered what a stranger would think while walking by the footbridge while Marion and Professor ae singing?

  • Really good movie. Great work of actors! I'm in my high school's production of "The Music Man". Tonight we had an opening night :D

  • One greecan urn... Two greecan urns

  • @Countrygulf Do you mean GRECIAN? I am not comprehending.

  • @RoxasClaimsRiku Yeah I can't spell

  • @Countrygulf Okay. Well I was just getting confused, so I decided to see if I couldn't help clarify. That is alright though, a lot of people today cannot spell worth crap. So I am used to it? I was just lost.

  • Kristin Chenowith is AMAZING. For real.

  • "greg..." 4:16...paaauuse "what?!" lol, i love mathew in this movie he's so gosh dang cute!!

  • Lol that guy keeps calling him Greg!

  • LMAO @ the "why you little...." hehee... Its a great line there :)

  • I'm in this play as Winthrop It's so fun! I love matthew broderick he is such a good actor!

  • has anybody else noticed after their little michevous makeout scene she's walking back to her house without her long white gloves? IT BOTHERS MEEEE...

i've watched this movie too many times to admit... but i mean REALLY? WHERE'D HER GLOVES GO?

  • @JALV4 - maybe she took 'em off and stuck 'em in her little bag thing.. :/ just a guess, idk. Honestly, it's probably a movie mistake, but maybe her CHARACTER took 'em off on the way home ;P

  • @JALV4: well now that you mentioned it, she does have her gloves off on her way back home, and my guess is she took them off a long the way and put them in the little purse she was carrying with her

  • 1 person has never heard the bells ringing

  • The amazing combination of a Producer actor and a Wicked actress...have I died and seen the perfect musical?

  • Comment removed

  • @narutosonicxfan lmao yes, AGREEED.

lol i love how incredibly different Leo Bloom and Harold Hill are, yet he completely pulls them both off... gooorgeous woman and man, perrfect together.

  • You know it's love when they change songs midway.

  • i think matthew broderick has a crush on her in real life :)

  • LOL when she starts kissing him and he opens his eyes like WTF?

  • @JALV4 I KNOW RIGHT, lol i love it... hopefully next time she kisses him he'll be a bit happier. xDD

  • This version is so lovely. It brings tears to my eyes every time i listen to it! Brava!

  • I love how they had one of the Actresses that played Galinda in Wicked to play Marion! I'm addicted to Kristin!

  • @PippinThePenguin yeah, this was before she did Wicked though. :)

  • @PippinThePenguin OMG!!! IT IS!!! (intense screaming) X_X

  • Ok seriously!!! This out-of-sync thing is driving me absolutely crazy.

  • @musicalmeg19 consider yourself lucky to hear this for free ;-)

  • @musicalmeg19 its out of sync because they both sing the opposite songs because they love each other

  • @TibbsTheyCallMe what?makes no sence?

  • This scene would of been better if they got an older guy to play Harold Hill cause he looks younger than her which he is.

  • @balletdancer4ever45

    Um... no he's not.

Kristin was 35 when this was made and Matthew Broderick was 41.

    Now Kristin's 42 and Matthew's 48.

  • LOL at the part 6:15 to 7:54

  • Much as I love Matthew, I think it would have been real dynamite to see Robert Preston (if he were the right age) with Kristin Chenoweth

  • I love when they sing each others songs out of nowhere, it's so sweet. I love their voices so much.

  • That first kiss is such an Aww!-worthy moment.

  • this is by fair my favorite part of the movie i wish all love could be like this so perfect like nothing could ever go wrong!:)

  • i love this moive evertime i hear this ong i cry im happy {:

  • damn greg ruined the kissing lol

  • ahh, there's nothing like Kristin Chenoweth's voice to brighten up your day, eh? When she sings, you just can't help but smile . It kindles the depths of your heart until it is warm enough to heat your whole body . Her voice is comforting , and amazing & downright, BEAUTIFUL . her immense talent & her bright attitude bring joy to us all (;

  • @mkayeSMILEZ couldn't have said it any better myself my friend

  • She sang that magnificently...she has such a tonal quality that just pierces the soul...i cry when she sings this song..so beatiful. Its like we hear her speak...and then when she sings...she opens the door of her heart and we walk in...wow!

    thanks for posting this.

  • what i am wondering is are they really kissing cause my friend said they weren't actually kissing. THough i think they are. Kristin Chenoweth is my idol and I am glad that she got the part it wouldn't be right without her! She is my idol

    peace love broadway

  • kristin chenoweth is aming at any role that she plays nobody can beat her! <3 x

  • i like this version better. i love matthew and kristin!!!

  • they're good in this but personally I perfer the original and think Ms Jones's voice better suited the song Till There Was You then Kristen Chenoweth's does and don't forget Robert Preston had also been Prof Hill in the original broadway production for 3 1/4 years before the original Movie

  • hey i got the part of marian to for my school!

    good luck cubbysgrl!!!!!!!!!!

  • or 3:40

  • awee! how cute.

  • This version should be Famous

  • Wow no one likes the comment you just made

  • by "you just made" you mean the comment I made three months ago?!?!?

peace on earth, good will toward losers like you who have nothing better to do with their time than read ancient comments

(do you think they'll like this one any better? ... let's check back in about 6 months, shall we?)

  • i love the part at the end when they both sing walking home..

  • its so cute he just starts singing her song outta no where and she sings his song lol

  • my god Matthew, what you do to me sometimes...

  • This is so sweet!

  • "Til There Was You" is my favorite song in the whole musical, especially when it becomes a duet between Harold and Marian~ <3

  • ah at 4:10 she looks so...confused/lost/forlorn? like something's missing and she doesn't know it.

  • She is an amazing singer!

  • 2:51 it's just...something happens right then. In that one look, you can just see it in his eyes.

  • I thought this was the greatest expression of love in a Disney movie because she loved him even though she "knew" that he could not or would not love her back. She loved him for 2 reasons: he put a smile back on her brother's face and opened up her heart again

  • as much as I love kristin chenoweth what is with her hair in this movie??

  • She has such a gorgeous voice...

  • @DassMorris I know,right?

  • haha at 6:00 when he opens his eyes when their kissing LOL!! Thats hilarious.

He's like whoa! alrighty then. hehe

  • yeah it made me giggle! lol

  • aww that part melted my heart T^T

  • I'm seriously in love with this movie.

And this song makes me jealous of every freakin' lucky who find love.

  • I've always loved how they transitioned into singing the other's song. I thought it was sweet.

  • i hate her hat

    I HATE IT!

  • COOL

  • lOOL we saw this in class. You do not know how immature people were... LOL

    "omg they're kissing"

    "OMG!!?!?!? AGAIN!!!"

  • killthekiller, can you spell this? antidisestablishmentarianism

    or

    supercalifragilisticexpialidoc ious

    ha ha I can

    and KRISTIN ROX!

  • i really really love matthew's portrayal of prof hill. he's more of a conman i think because he's so sincere that you wouldn't believe he was conning you. and the way he handles the change in prof hill's conscience is done really well.

and it doesn't hurt that he actually has an amazing voice/range unlike the original.

i love the original too, but this is also a fantastic portrayal of prof hill.

  • I'm so excited! 2 more months til our production takes place! :) I'm Marian Paroo.

I love Kristin! She is my inspiration! lol.

  • "The Music Man was intended to be a Valentine and not a caricature. Please do not let the actors-- particularly Zaneeta, Mayor Shinn and Mrs. Shinn, who takes herself quite seriously-- mug or reach for comedy effect. The Del Sarte ladies also should be natural and sincere, never raucous, shrewish or comic per se. THe humor of this piece depends upon its technical faithfulness to the real small-town Iowans of 1912 who certainly did not think they were funny at all.

    Faithfully,

    MEREDITH WILLSON"

  • We're doing this play at my elementary school. The kiss should be interesting. It better be a stage kiss

  • Joanna, Because she is of very small stature(almost 4'11"), her voice is that of a munchkin. Sorry to see you've been given a -7 though

  • Thank you. I try not to give people thumbs down unless they are either foul or just really obnoxious. Not when their opinion differs from mine. Sorry if I offended! Thank you for the explanation of why perhaps her voice is a little thin.

  • gyomráig betolja nyelvét ennek meg kiakad a szeme XDXD
