The problem with all these Yamaha models is that 1) they are absurdly expensive and 2) They suffer a very reed like sound on the lower two strings. For this price Yamaha should have the technology by now to get rid of that hideous reedy tone (listen at 3.50 for example of G string sound).

Very cool Stefan, thumbs up for Yamaha! I always wanted a Yamaha silent violin and now the electric! but our city provider makes Yamaha products unreachable...any way I managed to get a MG10/2 mixer from other town....Ya...maha!!
