What a craptastic boss. You need a party for that? Looks like you could drop him singlehanded with a ranger/rogue class by just running around plugging it with arrows. All its movement patterns are slow and predictable. Its attacks appear to be weak in damage, considering its size.

What a joke. It's like the disappointment of Berial in DMC4.

@Foxstab have you factored in the probabilities of it being on an easy diffuculty? You can say that about many WoW bosses but they still packed a punch. AND this is probably the first act boss you encounter, no different than the other Diablo 1st act bosses that barely did anything that required strategy. But anyway you're gonna get the game and enjoy it so w/e lol

@TenorSaxBreed Unless harder difficulty increase AI, attack patterns and/or amount of 'moves'/abilities it has instead of merely increasing the damage from its attacks, its armour and HP, then I don't see difficulty being of relevance.

That's always been the difference between MMOs' bosses and fighting/action/whatever games bosses. Especially in older games.

They usually had a pattern that you had to learn to be able to avoid, and in higher difficulties there'll be even more random and stuff.

@ChristiaanL14 just grab health orbs.. like 6 of them drop every minion you kill so it's nearly impossible to die in this game. i understan 2 of them died. 1 because it's a cool feature that blizzard did with the boss being able to bite their head off which is cool. blizzard isn't just gonna show preview of a "hard" boss and have everyone live. they want it to seem hard and not such a pushover boss.

i hope they chnge the skill setup to diablo 2..i don't feel like playing wow again

@TenorSaxBreed if its anything like diablo then that must be the normal difficulty..if they have an easy mode then they are making it more and more like wow..auction house..pay to win game. cooldowns on spells. quests that level you up. the new blizzard makes them all based around wow. and if this was back in the day blizzard then that boss would hit hard as hell and be an actual challenge. also they wouldnt make the level cap 60 LIKE WOW. and then they give u only 6 slots to put spells..so gay

@TenorSaxBreed in d2 u can bind any spell to any key. didnt have to fumble through anylists unless u are a noob and didnt hotkey it. in diablo 3 then limit ur abilities to 6 and u only star off with 2 available and unlock the other ability slots every 10 levels or so. diablo set its self apart from wow and that was one of its best features..we fell inlove with wow before they made it a retard easy game. they are making it like todays wow. which is horrible. im not buying another version of wow

You can see what the concept for Diablo looks like directly from their trailer. The game isnt released, and we probably wont know what diablo looks like until the game actually releases. But Blizzard has confirmed that this monster is but a mini boss in the game.

That D3 is similar to WoW may be a reason for some discontent, its not the only reason. For many, its that it doesn't stay true to how blizzard originally layed out the game, as a world based on horror where you never felt safe. D1 was the only one that actually used those mechanics as an integral part of its gameplay. The music in D1 really gave an atmosphere to it. D2 was good, but it changed to arcade with horror as a side. D3 doesn't even have music up to par with D2 and certainly not D1.

you should base what is true to the original games by looking at gameplay and not your opinion of the graphics style. texturing and detail look pretty damn good to me and not even close to cartoony, shadows are a bit too bright and the ring of light around character is missing but appart from that it looks good to me and so far seems to have a veriety of lush and creepy scenarios as well as lots of blood and gore. i cant wait to start the story though, thats when it can be judged properly.

Diablo 2,3 are just fabric softened versions of Diablo, ok the game play, and the places didn´t change that much...but look at the story of Diablo, it was soooo damn scary and well planned...

I mean Diablo 3 is not that bad, but it´s not kick-ass like Diablo. Play Diablo, Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 Demo...you´ll see that the story got worse and the quests too, only the gameplay, skilltree didn´t change
