The only thing i didnt like was the sound effect at 0:37 as it sounds so cheap compared to the dramatic last intro in the film series ^^ otherwize, good job!

@dwho1994 Sorry, youtube is wierd and puts the timeline wierdly, i mean this: 0:39 and 1:35 . The reason i think they are cheap is because i have heard them in several SFX packs. And this video looks SOOO professional and thats why the sound effect sounds out of place :S But its no big problem at all, its a REALLY nice video and so is the ''first?'' intro? The one with like 500k views, whitch i REALLY enjoy watching over and over. Ur a fantastic VFX'r and i wish you the best! :)

Yeah even though you made another new fan made opening sequence  ,you didn't put the past montage just like your earlier opening sequence you made but with putting hedwigs theme at the logo scene then putting a bright sunset on the fanmade opening credits to make a grimmier but bit brighter opening to the movie (continue in next comment)

Very great but I think the wb logo need different color mayby silver. The sun needs to be a bit bigger zoom at the end.

This is GREAT! WB should revise the film to include this intro, and add a crowd like there should be at the final duel... and then re-release the DVD with Harry's fucking portrait on the spine like all the other 7 films!!! ><

@dwho1994 Yes, the US version has NO picture on the spine, NO "Year 7, Part 2", and the title is up at the top of the spine :( It is SO inconsistent and ugly next to the rest of the collection. You Brits are VERY lucky!

1. Neville should have killed bellatrix

2. things from the older films such as Buckbeak wich was in the orginal screenplay artwork.

3. voldemort should have turned into talk riddle then died representing that he is now human

I agree about Voldermort as a normal human being. I didn't like how he dissolves in the air and no corpse remain on the floor (as like as Bellatrix and Nagini).

You forgot two -essential- thing: Lily as a child should'n have had brown eyes.

The prophecy heard in the movie is not the one about Harry but the one about Peter Pettrigrew.

@ForceMaximus84 it was rendered from 3ds as 24fps, after effects 24fps and Sony Vegas as 24fps, now unless I have made some mistake I don't see how it wouldn't be 24fps. However frame rates are not my strong points so something may have gone wrong

the movie was great, but i was always compare HPATDHP2 with Star Wars 3 Revenge of the Sith because star wars 3 was really intense but not dark enough. HP part 2 was really dark, but not as intense as I wanted it. This beginning is what I thought Part 2 was going to be like. Intense, and tons of action. there was action, but none of the deaths were shown. this video is amazing.

hmm there are only 2 flaws in my opinion. in the beginning there is a noticeable cut in the scene where voldemort takes the elder wand, and the wb logo should be in flames and turn to dust in the final zooming moments (when you're inside it let's say) while the movie title should be in flames and slowly put them out as it would start to shine more, like metal in the light, even taking the chance to make a reference *SPOILER ALERT* to the end of the movie *END SPOILERS*

The only thing I thought could be changed is the fact that Harry potter is supposed to be dark so it would have been better to have done it a bit darker or even on a dark background with a blue light. Kind of the HP5 intro isn't it ? Anyway, great job !

@Toini01 well this is like an "invert" to what we usually have, rather than a light logo on a dark background we have a dark logo on a light background, just to zest things up abit

Actually I'm still waiting for an intro a bit like the one in the triler, you know ? With the usual cloud and letters but with lightning which hits those letters and makes some sparks. Plus some white lightening we can see in the background like HBP. Would be great :p

I agree, partially, whilst this is lovely I think just a green/blue hue would make an excelent alternative, if only for an experiment.

I just wish the feel of Harry Potter hadn't lost it's Britishness by the last films. The dark, grey logo and oppressive cloudy backdrop took away from all that original bright, British magic the first 2 films sported. Perhaps I'll do my own version of these, if only to make me feel better lol.
