Marriage is sacred to God. That is why the bible goes as far as comparing Church as a bride of Jesus Christ. There is no bigger union than marriage other than our covenant with God. Do you know that in the book of Job God only tells the devil not to kill Job. The devil kills off his children but he never lays a hand on his wife. The devil knows to hurt Job's wife is to hurt Job himself. "and the two should become one". Now, you tell me how your lies fit in God's plan? She was Joseph's "WIFE".

This is what is dangerous about the teachings of the catholic church. Come on brothers and sisters. Stop listening to false teachings and read the bible for yourselves. If their teachings about Mary were true, they would not have to twist the word of God to make their teachings sound true. I grew up catholic and I knew more about Mary than I did about the one that matter, Jesus. Plain and simple, she had a husband and the bible saids that husbands and wives should not denied themselves.

noticed down further u say that is a false statement Matt 1:25..states before that he took her home as his wife so they "knew" one another as in personal relationship,so u know damn well how "know" was intended,stop deceiving yourself!!!

2 Tim 3:16 "All scripture is God-breathed ".Matt 1:18 " Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph,but before they came together,she was found to be with child Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man he did not want to expose her public disgrace,he had a mind to divorce her quietly."..In jewish tradition engaged=married,explains impending union/divorce cert.she had intentions of sex.Matt 1:25"But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son."Doesn't get clearer than that.....

This makes no sense to me. If Mary knew she was going to keep her virginity, why did she take a husband? Usualy, people who stay virgins and devote themselves to God don't bother with that. Not to say that's the only reason people get married, it's just that God intended a married couple come together. I mean, I'm sure he wouldn't care if if someone got married and then never slept with their partner, it just seems really odd.

Thats a false statement, this texts never say`s that Mary and Joseph had sexual relations.

"Knowing" someone also like the word "until" has another meaning in the Bible. "Knowing" someone is entering into a personal relationship with him, but this does not mean having sex.

The fact is that myths of virgin births were part of many IF NOT ALL of the surrounding pagan religions in the place where, and at the time when, Christianity arose.

Statues of the virgin goddess Isis with her child, the god Horus, in her arms were common in Egypt and absorbed into Christian mythology and iconography.

Virgin birth gods Ra, Net, Dionysos, Jason, Perseus, Attis, Adonis, Mithra, etc.

Virgin birth was an explanation for the god's arrival upon earth in human guise.

Quite the opposite. If Mary was not a perpetual virgin, she would have had other children. Why, then, would Jesus disobey custom by entrusting his mother to John, rather than to one of Mary's other children (Jn. 19)?

jesus had brothers and sisters, read matthew 13:55 , show me from scripture why jesus entrusting her to john was wrong , at that time john was a beleiver jesus blood brothers were not beleivers john 7:5,, ..and jesus was making a point that beleivers are his true family matthew 12:49, . jesus is refered to in scripture as gods only son, john 1:14, 3:16, 3:18. never marys only son but her firstborn luke 2:7. so stop accusing god of chossing the wrong words to defend your man made traditions

It is mind boggling to see and hear a man sit right there and lie about something the word of God has shown to be true.Mary had sex with Joseph and had more children.Why are Catholics so easily mislead?

The terms brother and sisters were used for close relatives -nephew, neice, cousins, etc. Those are the words the jews used. What did it mean at the time it was written is more important than what it means today. Can it really rain cats and dogs outside?
