Don't blame the guy in the video. The real reason you can't beat it is that the creator of the app ignored physics to make money. If the solutions shift every so often and they don't even make sense structurally, then the real point of the app is to sell. The answers are available for $0.99 and that's the app designers only way to get money, he's not going to give it up in the name of physics.
this pattern didn't work for me either, it works if the rail on the bottom moves right then up, basically the opposite pattern of what was done on the top rail, i was able to complete the level using under $10,000
just did it. need to put more strength onto each bar individually, try crossing. then you need a small crossing between the two bottom polls to add strength. works.
