While I'm sure you can play, and play well no doubt, I'm pretty sure you did an amazing job on this song. The backround music was CCR and the vocals were Fogerty for sure. You make it look easy. Masterful job.
And yeah, I liked this song way back in the late 60's - early 70's. Had it on an 8-track.
Have you ever tried picking "Steamroller Blues" by Elvis?
I can watch your guitar playing for hours...i love it. Could you do CCR Heard it through the grapevine please...the long version . Together with ramble tamble they are two amazing bits of work!
This tune does so much to my soul I just have to say...Comos Factory was the 2nd 33 rpm I owned. Instant love for every song on it. I played it so much the needle wore through the vinyl. I am 53 years young, and I never tire of hearing Ramble Tamble. This tune has echoed in head for 40 years. Long live John fogerty. Now I feel better. Twangy does the best cover of this one. Keep up the good work Twangmiester.
14 in ‘66 and with CCR at the Berkeley Community Theater. Fogerty’s guitar solo (perfectly played here) defined the hippy-dippy 60's in the Bay Area (East Bay) and put to shame Garcia/Dead & Co., Grace Slick & Co., Steve Miller & Co., Santana & Co., Quicksilver & Co. and all those freaks in SF who thought they invented “jam band muzac.” This solo probably influenced the afore-mentioned as well as Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Stones, Yes, Bowie, and who know’s who? God Bless: JOHN FOGERTY!!
Love this song and have it full blast in the car. Looks like your enjoying playing it as well, which makes a difference. Now its time for you play " whiskey in the jar"
Are you using drop D tuning only on the 6th string? Alternate tunings are not my strong point. If all I have to do is drop the 6th E string to a D I am probably okay.
Nice work mate. Finally someone who knows how to play a song without talking shit all through it! Great tone too, damn those teles are versatile guitars.
hey man one question cause youre the one i found that can play exactly like fogerty and since a little bit im been wondering how he made the feedbacks in this song.
Oh yeah---Comos. Summer of 1970! C-5's flying through the air, front beach fun, Home again for the summer---and then back overseas in Sept. What a summer! So that's how it's played. Drop D kids!
What a stonking tune!!! Never even heard of this.Gotta give this one a go. Your playing, tone and choice of songs are Amazing. Keep em coming they are so appreciated.
Wow! You pulled up another dusty gem.Totally awesome and you nailed it right on. Thanks a truckload.I check this site out about five times daily just to see when you're puttin' up another great tune.
Wow Good job! I don't understand the upset towards the questions or comments made by other people....but hey its your video and you do a hell of a good job anyway
Man I used to play this song but haven't done it in years. Youve inspired me to make some CCR back tracks and do it again. Great job!!
