ummm the japanese version suxorz b/c of its shooting capabilities.... you always shoot over the shoulder making it impossible to jump or see anywhere past the line of sight... where as in the english version yes there are flaws however you get a wider range of view and better shooting capabilities
OMG I can't believe it's the Griffon... I usually favor the Cerberus because it's more powerful and lighter... I wonder if we're supposed to use the Griffon on the beast instead...! I'm playing this extra mission on the English version and the damned beast simply doesn't die!! Also, I couldn't find any ether or mako pools, so using materia is not possible... This seems to take to long to complete, I don't think I have that much patience x(
Also, does anybody know if those Guard Hounds keep respawning? Or can we kill them all eventually and deal only with the beast? I think they do respawn though...
And if someone knows whether there's mako or ether somewhere in that field, please let me know...!

yeah, you also have to fight it in the spezial missions but then you're vincent and no deepground...I would like to play the multiplayer mode too, unfortunately I don't know where to buy the japanese version in germany!?
i might agrre with you but i thinks its btter to mix it up a bit by playing as differnet charcter is it possible to play as any of the tsviets in any verison jap/us

It's not just in multiplayer mode. I fought him in like two different missions in the extra mission mode for English version.

Since there is no online mode in the US version, they put the online missions in the extra missions mode.
