I am not sure..in USA u play three times a week..if u get a bad game, just don' t think about and keep on gaming..in Europe u do not have a second chance..I prefer European games..more tacthicals..defensive..in the NBA it' s just a race between the scorers...in a single match the Mavs culdo defeat the Pana with no prioblems..but I don' t think Dallsa should win a longer match...

I used to watch the Nets when I was younger (The only time I watched the Bulls and Knicks was when they were on network TV as well as WNBC) and I could'nt help but be amazed by Drazen Petrovic's talent while in New Jersey.

@lucyjara Nope. Drazen was a good player but really not that great. A good comparison is Michael Redd. They both are snipers from beyond the arc but never developed the rest of their game to the point where you could consider them an elite player. MJ could score from virtually every spot on the court and he could lock down anyone on offense. There is no other player like that in the history of the game.

@kennygriff24 but your missing the big picture-american atheletes have such a high bar-the best of the best to compare to and compete against-drazen came from a small village and developed a love for the game where basketball isnt an afterthought-he played with the best and scored on the best at that time,doesnt that make you a pro?

@mikecvcc08 I never said he wasn't a pro. He was absolutely a good NBA player and probably would have gotten better, considering his relentless work ethic, had he not died. What I'm saying is that Drazen's game, although impressive, still could not hold a candle to Michael Jordan's game.

He played in NBA for like 3 years max....and still he left a mark...imagine how we would remember him if he stayed alive....we would talk today about what a great riveraly Jordan and Drazen had....

@retardinho That's where you're wrong. Drazen was arguably the greatest European basketball player of all-time but he was not as good nor would he ever approach the greatness of Michael Jordan. Maybe this will explain: The best part of both Drazen and Jordan's games were their scoring ability. And in Drazen's best year (his 5th in the NBA) he averaged just over 22 points. Compare that to Jordan's career average, which is 30, and the difference is obvious.

@kennygriff24 petrovic did shoot over 50% from the field though.. i do believe that drazen was the most pure shooter the nba has really seen.. but no doubt MJ was better.. if petrovic wasnt taken so young and had a full nba career, it is possible he could have been a top 5 nba player of all time.. but MJ will always be number 1

@kennygriff24 Drazen is my idol from childhood, and I watch basketball for 20 years now :) so I will say just this: Drazen was better than Michael in three point shooting (as was reggie miller, larry bird and chris mullin), but Michael Jordan was better in every other segments of playing... that's the real truth... Drazen was type of player who was and is one of the best players ever (among 50 -100 best players) but Michael was really the best player ever... that's it.

@kennygriff24 How am I wrong? You made an assertion he didn't develop the rest of his game when it was obvious that he was very versatile player. And Jordan had an advantage playing in NBA for almost a decade by the time he arrived. He came from Europe which was at that time greatly inferior to NBA and he showed he can be one of the best players there. You are talking about stats when Drazen never managed to shows fully what he was capable of...its ridiculous postulation.
