  • Very good!

  • Very good!

  • Good playing :) Jamming at festivals is one of the best parts about being a musician. I teach this tune for fiddle on my channel. I post a new lesson for fiddle, guitar, and mandolin there every single week! You can also get the full lesson and the sheet music on my website.

  • Good tune well done, folks.

  • If that don't make ya feel good yer dead!

  • Great!!

  • Some damn fine music! Especially the fiddle. So sweet it can melt your teeth out of your head! True American heritage is found in Bluegrass music. Hopefully, we can keep this alive for a while longer.

  • Golly !!!! Are you guys still formed as LIBERTY ? Where can I get me some Liberty?

  • Have'n get fun!

  • Thank to my Dad.First tune I ever learned from you...Jan

  • One cool thing about the tune Soldier's Joy is on the chorus the first change can be G or A. Both work if you're in the key of D. Try it. Make the first chord change to A instead of G and the second time it comes around play G instead of A. It's a nice twist and doesn't take away from the songs character.

  • This is my favorite version, because I can play it on Mtn dulcimer and penny whistle.... looks like you having loads of fun

  • I'm all giddy this is so good.

  • I love that stuff. I wish I could go to the bluegrass festival and have fun like that! But I don't know any of those songs by heart. And I play the accordion and piano. I don't know if I'd be welcome to jam. LOL

  • Yes you'd be welcome. The music is a tradition. Not everyone knows it... but everyone can share in its joy. Give it a try sometime.
