Actually just so you know you do have to know how to sing if you want auto-tune to work in a studio which he uses (T-pain). Auto-tune doesn't mess up your voice either it goes by your voice frequency(pitch) and automatically lock it in tune ... and the reason they call it the (T-pain effect) is because he invented it.
