@Soonerball09 not complete ... yes you are right there are 4 sensors but if the top one is clean they wont check the others ... worked for many people that messaged me thank yous and my friends...
@ECFilms123456789 Yeah don't really know why i said fail-but once i went in when my iphones screen was moving by itself and both sensors were white, but they checked the top and the dock sensors both. I just wouldn't feel very honest bleaching the sensor :(

im happy you were able to get a new phone.... The reason they are doing this is because they know that there are problems with the iphone retaining water from the air and other locations..... For some that dont have problems like yours this is the only way for them to get a working phone
What if I don't have the warranty for my iPhone? I have an iPhone 2G and its out of warranty and while charging it got really hot and made a wizzing sound. Now it wont turn on. Will they replace it for free? I know this isn't a water damage problem but I just need help. I'm freakin out.
ok, this is sorta goodish news, i dropped mine in the bathtub and it had water damage but if you take it back to the apple store they will replace it for $99, it is better then the 250 i payed for it to start with, much luck
this isn't fixing the ipod/phone.. this allows apple care to not be able to tell if the ipod is water damaged... if its under the 1 year they will replace it for free... the bleach method works best ..... they have caught on to the paper! Yes you have to go to the store lol

I'd cut the paper to match the ipod EXACTLY and put crazy glue on it and put it in. Make sure the thing looks flawless.

They believed that it was humidity but didn't give me a new one. Is there anything else I can do?
There are more water damage indicators than the one in the headphone jack, just so you know. They'll find it and either bill you for the phone, or terminate your warranty. Or both.
yep... they usaly dont check those... but u can still bleach them.. also your waranty is already terminated when u got it wet.. so it real doesnt mader... also if they say they cant repair it becuse of the water damage they only charge you for the price of the phone .... 200... they just changed there police... they cant just bill you for a phone... you have to buy one....

There are 4 sensors, 2 visible. One of the visible ones you have to open the phone to get to. Fail..

yea , this dosent fix the phone this just changes the color of the iphone water test strip so apple replaces ur phone if its under contract
