  • @woohhah the uke is a Swagerty Singing Treholipee ukulele made in San Clemente, California in the 60's and marketed to Surfers to take to the beach and stick upside down in the sand when they were riding the waves.

  • It's fairly straightforward. The string is secured underneath the centre of the top of the box (Tea Chest) and tied to the top of the pole. The other end of the pole sits on the corner of the box. When you pull on the top of the pole and twang the string it makes a note. This is amplified by the box and will change depending on how hard you pull the pole.
