GCEA tuning. Like a guitar with a capo in 5th fret except that the first string is one octave higher.

This is my favorite version! I love how you play the vocal part with the strumming, most just skip that and strum. Guess I will have to close watch your fingers here and tab it myself

Making allowances for YouTube, I think the Kala sounds pretty good. It's not exactly an expensive instrument. What do you think of it, WS? How does it compare to some of your other ukes?

Well, I don't have any expensive instruments at all, actually except the Kala Mango Tenor this is the most expensive uke I have right now ;) The "Giraffe" is a good instrument, I can recomment it!

I have a Kala tenor too. Tenor ukes actually are already starting to get very big, I prefer smaller instruments. I also prefer the sound of sopranos (more ukulelish, a tenor is starting to sound guitarish), but the fretboard on a soprano is very small, so about everything for me speaks for that combination, soprano body with tenor neck. Of course it is nonsense to have 21 frets, but it can't hurt!
