  • i am used to hear different accents, but for some reason, I even do not understand question 7!

  • ok, i got it. "assign a roomate".

  • @SmobblBobbl Would you prefer to select a roommate or let University assign a roommate to you?

But I got it only after listening the answer :)

  • Hi ouliogroove, congratulations for the amazing job you`ve doing so far, your videos are of extreme importance for me, even though we know it`s almost impossible (that`s why it`s a sample xD) to speak so fluently and clearly without being a native speaker, it provides an amazing guidance. Continue with the great job!!

  • How long did you study?

  • ouliogroove! who ever u are ,where ever u are! i'm must say u're helping students , especially for students like me who live on a tight budget.all i did was to go through ur videos and for my TOEFL IBT .i got my score today

    Reading-30

    Listening-29

    speaking-29

    Writing-28

    Thank you so much!

  • I've been trying for a year and a half now , yet didn't pass it .

  • It's too difficult for me:((

  • I am not even able to answer this stupid nonsense qusetion in my own language...

  • lool

  • 8:10... ". . . . abot students" ...the lady is a canadian...lol..she said "abot" ... courtesy - HIMYM... j/k....these videos are really helpful...

  • Hey toefler , I took the exam today and the question they asked was : what should universities do to make the studends help decreasing the polution ??

And the second question was : do u prefer playing games and sports for enjoying or for winning ???

    O.o

  • @Honeyrandom hahahahahhahahahhaahahaha

  • Oh, was it very tough?

  • @Honeyrandom OMG!

  • Just follow the same way of speaking and whatever u choosed as a reason for your choice , it will be accepted as long as u can talk about clearly and fluently , what they care about is how u speak and how u use ur vocabulary and grammer .I did the exam after I saw these videos and I got 26 ,

What I need help in is how to write in the toefl writing section , the highest score I got was 22 and I need at least 24/30.

  • I think it's about speaking more than finding good explanation

  • Hmm it's said that we need to include examples but the samples don't do that. I mean whit this type of questions there aren't much examples to include.. soo would it be wrong if we don't include any examples?

  • this f!#*ing chinese guy is mumbling so much, that I don't understand a thing.

  • @Laparanoicafierita , take a look at my other comments… When I was preparing myself for the exam the grade 100/120 seemed kind of impossible! But since this is a standardized exam, all you need to do is practice, practice a lot, and you will get used to this kind of questions.

  • I am typing up the script of each sample answers.

  • personally thinking, the attitude towards questions and the ability to involve more in it takes a major role in doing well on it. just answer as if u r having real conversations with some english speakers. that way u can do better.

  • I really don't like the accent of the narrator of the question 7.It bothers me

  • thanks a millionth millionth zillionth ton for uploading this video..got 29 on my speaking section bcz of it...full marks to u boss..thanks

  • helloo...i am looking forward to prepare for TOEFL can someone give me some advice...

  • why the reasons are opposite to each others.I don't think it supposed to be like that :S

  • Thank you very much!!!

Those videos realy helped me to succeed in TOEFL ibt!

I Got a total of 110! I was looking for a 100 to join a engineering course in USA.

    Reading 28

    Listening 28

    Speaking 27

    Writing 27

  • @andrehpinto did you talk in the same amazingly perfect way as these guys in the recording?

  • @Vooalja, you don't need to speak as fast as those guys, neither with this perfect accent...

Just try to organize your ideas and speak fluently!

Try to use a book as well.. I've used Kaplan.

  • @andrehpinto thanks a lot for advice)) but I am getting THIS tomorrow:)

its not the end of my life, anyway:)

  • @andrehpinto how long did u use for preparing Tofel?

  • @cooleryj, I've spent one entire month of my vacation studying for the exam.

One thing I realized was that every day, when I started to study, my brain kind of need a litle time to get used to the english language and "forget" the portugueese. So, when I took the exam I've spent like half an hour reading some stuff in english so I could get in touch with the language sooner, not just in the exam. It worked with me.

  • @andrehpinto dude are you serious? i'm looking forward exactly the same grade.

what else did you do in order to practice?

  • Wow! Congratulations! Was it very difficult?

  • @Liduniya thanks!

Kind of... but it is all about practicing! You have to be as fast as you can to right down a quick answer, just some brief ideas to support you while speaking and avoid long and embarrassing pauses! Just practice as most as you can!

  • @andrehpinto you are lucky.

  • @lovealem , nope, I just studied a lot!

  • @andrehpinto Congratulations! I wish I could be as good as you :)

  • @pklinh97 Keep practicing! I'm writing from U.S right now! It worths every minute I spent studying!

And remember, you don't need to have this perfect accent they do in this video. And feel free to lie in your answers! Just come-up with anything! hahha

  • @andrehpinto lying is what I gotta do, I think, ))

So, did you get any of those sample topics or you got another ones?

  • @TheAttachedMom, I got all different ones... but yes, don't be afraid of lying and saying anything just to fulfill the speaking time!

  • @andrehpinto Thank you for the answer!

  • I can't even speak like that in my own language

  • @thatgourl me too. it's difficult for me to come up with some good ideas(

  • @thatgourl seriously lol i dont think the problem here is really to speak, but to think about reasons why you pick a certain choice , who the hell speak like that and find all those reasons in 15 seconds , it seems like it is about knowledge more than english

  • Nice example. It seems to be that TOEFL exam is kinda hard, but it's not. :D Thank you for your examples.

  • Thank you a lot for this, it's going to be a good help for me.

I have a question, though: Whenever they ask questions like "what is your favorite type of movie", am I allowed to talk about more than one? E.g., I like romantic comedies as well as action movies and I cant really decide on just one. So is that possible? Or how much do they go into detail when evaluating my answers?

    thanks in advance

  • nice

  • I made 663 out of 667 in TOEFL around 1991. It put me in top 1% between 2,000,000 students. Made 100-100-94

  • This guy is a genius. He helped me get my desired goal in Toefl. In the first try I only got 84. But after practicing his videos I ended up with a 103. Here's my score in toefl:

    Reading - 28

    Listening - 24

    Speaking - 27

    Writing - 24

    Thanks ouliogroove

  • @TheCoolHunk1

Oh My God!! That's so great...I took the test like a month ago and I didn't pass again...: (

But improve more...could you please give me some tips...I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE IT!...I wish I could get your score, I need it so badddd

  • @milly0703 What score do you need? Keep practicing this guys video and you will eventually get your desired score.

  • @TheCoolHunk1

Well I pass 2 SECTIONS: the reading with 21, L:20, and I got speaking 23 I need at least 26, Writing 22 and I need 24, the thing is that this was my third time, so I'm very discourage...I just hope I can get your score...Thanks for replay me back...and CONGRATULATIONS!!

  • @milly0703 Keep trying. Eventually it will strike. Did you do the free practice Toefl provided by ETS? And try to get Toefl books from the library for extra practice. That's what I did. The key to success is practice.

  • thank you so much it is really helpful!!! but some questions (with the same speaker!) are difficult to understand, i wish he wouldnt speak in my test next week.

  • The transcript for question 7 is:

"Would you prefer to select your roommate or let the university assign a roommate to you" :)

  • the question 7 is really not understandable...thanks to the answer i get into it

But I wanted to read the .pdf under the link (in more info). But it seems there is problem related this (file was moved or removed it is unknown) Please help me.

  • Great job.

Thank you for uploading this video. It is very helpful!

  • thnx, you guys really done a great job, God bless you!

  • here are some more tips and score patterns of the iBT speaking section

  • It`s very useful, thank you!

  • and I really do love to know about this, please give an example to those as well as the meaning of it. But I know you have a great style in Videos that makes it more interesting and understandable.

Please help me, to improve my writing skills

Thank you so much and God Bless you,

    Sally,

  • hello Sir,

I really love your videos, and I want to finish all your videos it helps me a lot for my "English" and I'm preparing for my IELTS Exam. You provided me a lot of new vocabulary, etc.

I'm such a big fun of you, and I have some problems in my Essay or in writting especiallty the "TRANSITIONAL WORDS" like However, Thus, Moreover, etc.

  • Well, the sample responses are considered A++, complete and grammatically perfect... But of course you don't need to aim for that to get a good score. Remember that you have 15 secs to prepare, so it is virtually impossible to come up with something nearly as good as the samples.

Now the best advice I can give you is to follow the "newly added link" in the MORE INFO section and it will lead you to the scoring grid. It is pretty neat and well done and this is what the judges use to grade you.

  • Hi Oulio, its me again!, I couldn't make it , my score in speaking was 20 , I need 26 to pass , do u have other sample questions for q1 & q2 , it does not have to have the sample answers , thanks a lot.

  • Thank you so much for uploading these videos.

  • good job.

    thx, its very helpful.

    keep uploading,

  • Thank You Very Much For Uploading
