Rosa Parks sued OutKast in 1999 over this tune for misrepresenting her name, she even hired Johnnie Cochrane for her appeal but lost because of first ammendment rights. She didn't understand the meaning of the lyrics - that OutKast was shouting out to her name as a metaphor for not conforming to the rules and they were leaving rappers behind with a new sound. I hope she forgave them and realizes that's dope!
