Fear Factory is awesome! Metallica sucks, and is commercial trash. Commercial metal has always sucked and always will. The new Five Finger Death Punch cd also blows butt nuggets. If you want a good Five Finger Death Punch only buy the first one! Fear Factory is awesome and is not commercial.

@TheJanegro you're right although Fear Factory has been also through a period where their commercial success has gradually increased already since their second release without harming the songwriting though - most of the time.Obsolete began to show signs of weakness by introducing nu metal elements into some tracks; and of course Digimortal.Good thing they've soon dropped that sound, as for Five Finger... I don't think they're worth a dime, to be honest

Slipknots sound like theirs if anything even though I don't really agree with that. I stated that Fear Factory and Dino and COW paved the path for the bands of the new millenium. FF was nu-metal before Korn and Stinkin Linkin Park and Slipknot and DevilDriver etc etc....

All in all, praise the metal gods for Fear Factory!!!

It's good that you love FF but you've got some facts wrong. FF were NEVER nu-metal. They were the first really heavy band to use electronica in their songs and samples for which they got coined "cyber-metal" or "industrial metal". Also if you've ever actually listened to Demanufacture you'd never in a million yrs have said what you said and if you go even further back to Soul of a New Machine you'd have stabbed yourself in the eye for calling them nu-metal.
