The standards are too low compared 20 years ago. 80s and 90s were the ages when music were at its zenith around the globe. Today, if you got the look then you are signed. Voices can be adjusted with the help of autotune or by studio! Back in the day, an album took a while before it was released. Right now, it just rushed to be on the market as soon as possible.

It's nowhere near that standard now. The awards ceremony mean so little as awards r given based on backstage politcs.
