Jesus, I really love the Wedding Present and love this video. The locations, singer in front, black and white, desaturated colours, and... the end !! Mainly, the music video got "stupid" ending, with no interest, here we've got a marvelous ending. Of course, great music video need great... music and it's seems a perfect mix here. Really love it and gonna put it on facebook right now. That remember a short clip making for fun with a DOP friend in the Cap Blanc Nez in France. Great job mate !

Great video. I thought I'd be seeing bits of LA given that there is no Interstate 5 in Britain but the running woman made me forget about the literal title and matched the feel of the song's driving rhythm and longing tone brilliantly. I enjoyed the outtake companion piece too.

Thanks, great comment. I never intended to reflect the lyrics literally... Mainly because of the budget! But yes, I avoided any driving of cars too. As soon as I heard the track I envisaged someone running throughout the entire piece, driving it on. Great track to work with.

Dave RUles, I love this song, I remember first hearing it, then live thinking, this is dark, really dark. Most of thier stuff, though bleak, is in almost all cases light hearted, and a good way to cover the painfull subject matter. This one, written in the minor key, was a real change. LOVE IT. First few secconds here, I thought it might have been Sally in the vid. WE all miss her right?

i grew up with the likes of the smiths and cure as my childhood sountrack, but the wedding present was my dads favourite of all the bands, and when take fountain came out in 2005 i was old enough to appreciate the musical upbringing my dad had given me.

the wedding present played newcastle in autumn 05 and i was pressed to the rail watching this in a crowd of 30 somethings, best gig ive ever seen, one of the best songs ive ever heard
