Yea and also about ungrateful people who dont value what they have and keep putting up excuses that they have had a rough life and keep acting like cowards and not see what is in front, and sadly these are the people they love. A lot of people have the wrong perspective about abusive parents. When you have an abusive parent they use their power to make their spouse feel like they aren't good enough. This causes them to believe it after so long and it isn't easy for them to leave. If you know someone that is a victim, tell them you are there for them, and only once. Give them the option to get help. But don't cause them to stop talking to you because they will defend their partner until they see the truth.
Should she have spent the $150,000 it took to make this video on other things instead, like 3rd world medicine, food, water, housing for refugees, education for poor village children? She could have, I guess, but that would be her choice. Her first responsibilty is to keep her career above water. I'm glad she made the video. She's one of the best out there.
The way I understand the song is initially sung from his perspective, His wife knows about his infidelities (I don't have to pretend she doesn't expect it from me) then turns around and i would assume during an argument asking her why it's not good enough..The second verse is pretty explanatory to the video...
