You know what's funny? People saying that Orr lost his touch as a fighter. He doesn't fight as much now cause people are in fear of him except a split few who can hang with him. Cote is much smaller than him and doesn't ever beat him, but at least the guy shows up. Where are all the other guys Orr beat last year. In hiding and that is why he isn't winning nearly all his fights now. He is only fighting the elite.

i can see your sticking up for orr but im sorry to tell you but hes still fighting as much as last year and he hasnt lost his fight hes 6 and 2 this year and lost agaisnt two guys he should of won and who he has already beat before and cote isnt small haha orr is 6 foot 3 222 pounds and cote is 6 feet 2 220 pounds so an inch and two pounds is nothing and you are right many guys are afriad he tryed to fight chris neil and neil was afraid to drop the gloves, everyones afriad of that right hand

I don't know man, I have season tickets to the Flyers and Cote looks smaller than most of the people he's fighting in person. 6 foot 2 220 is a generous measurement. Though I will say he looks stronger than last season. I think he must be lifting hard in the summer, but I gotcha. I am a Flyers fan, but I appreciate a guy like Colton Orr. He is a fearless fighter who scares most players in this league. He is definitely one of my favorite fighters because he rarely holds his opponents.

u gotta appreciate Riley Cote, this bad muthafucker will fight anyone, from 5'something to 6'8 inches when he fought fritz and busted him open, i see many ppl run there mouths on Cote, this coming from fans on other teams who don't even a have a true enforcer, Cote and Orr are the kind of guys u want on your team, bad asses on the ice but real class acts outside the rink.

Exactly. You understand how this league works, though I will have to say that I would trade Cote for Brashear. Brashear was just a more imposing presence when he was here, but Cote holds his own very well. He has a lot of close losses and draws. I really wanna see him win more, cause he is fearless.

Orr's a keeper. He can certainly hold his own with the bigger heavyweights in the league. He's one of the best and the Rangers are VERY lucky to have him. Without him in the lineup, the Rangers have very little physical presence.

Yeah. The smaller guys are feisty and will fight as well though, even if they are outmatched. And Mara and Voros hold their own. Mara is a beast. But Orr is such a good physical presence. He knocked the shit out of Crosby last night and beat up on Bogard. But hey beating on Crosby isn't something to be that proud of...it's not that difficult to throw that little bastard around as the Rangers proved last night. Just have to watch out when he cries to the linesmen. haha
