It's not that either. As the person who filmed this, I used a camcorder in the balcony of the church. The audio is from the condensor mic in the camcorder. This video, and others of Don, were shot WAY before YouTube was around, they were only intended for my personal use, so there aren't high production values.
Errr, I think Childan was referring to Don Ross's singing. I, for one, think that Don Ross has a really nice voice. It isn't always 100% tone perfect when he's singing live, but it's still pretty good and soothing too.
holy crap.. i mean, i've known don ross for a while, and i'm just rediscovering his stuff.. he was one of the first fingerstyle guitarists i knew and then i moved into the whole genre.. and after seeing it all, still have to say.. don ross is the man :D .. i used to think he was really really great before, and now i think he's super-de-duper awesome :P
when you are playng the guitar the strings can loose tuning...and he just tuned back de string...that's all..he is on of the best guitar players i've whatched on youtube...all my best to you Don, keep up the good work..;)
haha. didnt notice that the first time around. very funny. And yeah, that happens to me alont since i bend my strings a lot. It lowers the tuning really fast. gotta retune before i play every day

i was meaning to see Don live for about a year now but it's always lack of time he's too far. i'll just have to call in sick at work next time.

"A string" I don't think it is all that significant. I think he heard it was out of tune a bit and he fixed it.

i would suggest tightening your tuners then. there should be a little screw at the end of each tuner, just tighten each one a little.
