  • Undertaker is awesome

  • Why was the wwf trying to turn taker into a face? He should have let the snake hit Elizabeth with the chair.

  • You just don't mess with the Snake. Even the Undertaker must learn that!

  • WHAT THE FUCK

  • Even though we don't get to see Jake the Snake get the crap beat out of him here, it did go down at Wrestlemania...and THIS era IS the beginning of the DEAD MAN UNDER "STALKER" lol ..i certainly wouldnt want him chasing me with a casket...he's HUGE back then,,probably the biggest wrestler they had at the time, other than Sycho Sid......HAPPY TAKERWEEN! REST IN PEACE!! ....

  • It made me laugh at the end when taker rolled his eyed back, Roberts shat himself!!

  • the song "i will not die" by three days grace describes this perfectly

  • is the undertaker apart of the illuminati

  • @Dwaynewade2478

The Illuminati knows better than to interfere with a world the Undertaker lives in.

  • This is Classic, this was so good back in these days, I miss this stuff, classic lives on forever the best of the best early 90's Warrior, Undertaker, Jake the snake, Flair, Hogan, Savage, all great moments

  • Arguably one of the greatest Face turns in Wrestling History.

  • creepy

  • randy savage RIP one true legend

  • I hope he did this at his real parlor.

  • Brilliant Jake Roberts was one of the best heels unfourtuneatly his heel run didn't last long.

  • 3:24 undertaker is like wtf ?

  • Chi chi rodriquez w the nestle crunch! Boo yah!

  • Paul Bearer's expression at 2:40, priceless lol

  • this segment is the greatest in wwe history the funeral parlour is awesome

  • They should have put this segment on The History Of The Underaker dvd as an extra.

  • The Day the dead man turned babyface..who'd have ever thought you'd see that happed at the time.

  • @JRocker69 no it started a WMVIII (8) where undertaker beat jake roberts

  • @Caligirl09871 superfly snuka says hi

  • This is the beginning of Undertaker's LONG and still currently-running popularity streak. :)

  • @SandmanEnter1991 his streak started the year before this.

  • Insted of mindless amount of chairshots. WWf booked this very well imo. Couple attacks but done so well. This had more emotion in it then most wrestling angles. The facial expressions and lines were top notch.

  • With this kind of durability, how did The Undertaker ever lose?

  • Jake at 7:30 bobbing and weaving,sticking and movin...with a steel chair!hahaha,that guy was a hoot.What charisma,gave the best promos.

  • There was something special about this time in the WWF. Perhaps it was just more fun to watch the WWF. A separation of reality and fantasy in the early 1990s in the WWF made watching wrestling, not sports entertainment, more fun.

  • this was when the undertaker was a beast!

  • Jake had a horrible body and would probably not make it in todays cosmetic WWE.

  • @jpowers55 Indeed, think of how many pontential superstars they've turned away because they werent 6'6 and Jacked

  • Undertakerwas th Jason Vorhees of professional wrestling. Ddnt symuch and just stood there killing you from the inside out.

  • Oh.....now that The Undertaker is a face he suddenly feels pain.....

  • Undertakers face turn.

  • Jake Roberts in his prime could turn Colonel Gaddafi face. He was that fucking awesome.

  • @fungusmcphee He was so good in NWA that he turned King Kong Bundy face.

  • I remember this as one of the most powerful segments ever in the WWF - the Undertaker's face turn and the dragging of the coffin lives in my memory!

  • @wrestlingfan112588 uh it was in the script

  • 3:05 to 3:14 lol ... I think a more appropriate response from undertaker should have been that I don't take sides...

  • wow... been so long since i've seen this. they could've built an epic feud around this. these two guys had an incredible mesh of styles. i get chills watching this now.

  • Holy shit Beaerer was freaky looking back then. and that voice... Maybe if I talked like that my funeral home will get more business, lol.

  • This is what made me a loyal Undertaker Fan. Whether he's a Heel or Babyface he's still my favorite wrestler. There will never be another.

  • 2:39=PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bring back the funeral parlour

  • I'm not a Undertake fan, but what an EPIC segment!

  • oooooooooh Yeeeees lol

  • wow...so strong

  • Undertaker FTW!

  • I'm so happy Bearer is back. He is a class act.

  • A very young Mark Calloway (post Mean Mark Callous). And NO ONE does the DDt better than Aurelian Smith, Jr. (AKA Jake "The Snake" Roberts).

    'Nuff Said!

  • and just like that jake has them both down and out

  • Jake Roberts was the epitome of evil. Loved that dude!

  • @wesleyshawn - Yeah The Undertaker maybe death, but Jake was the devil.

  • the undertaker old , 2010 in wwe smack down

  • Undertaker WOW whatelse can be said the whole thing the walk expressions everything HIS DAMN HAND WAS STUCK IN THAT CASKET didn't even hurt him and jake when he's on he's one of the best story tellers in wrestling EVER

  • When it came to ring psychology nobody could touch Jake.

A true master. Now fans have to put up with feeble, watered down versions of such characters like Jake Roberts. The Viper Randy Orton....yeah right.

  • @ultimok True, and that is why the Undertaker is the greatest gimmick and the best in psychology as well as character-presentation, because he learnt it from Jake Roberts.

  • Damn, forgot taker was the shit back in the day. He still kinda is now but back then...damn all I have to say is Roberts, Run like Hell! Taker was coming for you.

  • 8:06 min geil geil geil

  • lol that snake had no venom

  • Undertaker was God like in those days.

  • @danlc95 wish he was still like this.

  • Paul Bearer's face at 2:40. ROFL

  • i remeber lookin' up jake the snake and at the part when the snake was biteting macho man jake actully tried to get the snake to let go and then atfer that segment it said that the snake died and the macho man said something funny cant remeber what he said though

  • i will HAPPILY pay $8 a month for tons of hours of wrestling classics like this, than fork over $50 a month for terribly shitty ass current wwe programming.

  • This was a legendary moment in pro-wrestling entertainment! The day the Undertaker went from heel to hero. Now the fans had death on their side.

I remember as a kid watching this on tv, my adrenaline was spiking through the roof!

The Undertaker had a very unique effect on his fans that no other wrestler had: te feeling of being unstoppable.

  • @PHANTOMZ0NE Me too! Those were the days! And two decades after the Undertaker debuted at Survivor Series, he is STILL unstoppable! His 17-0 streak at WrestleMania is legendary! If he doesn't get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year (or any other year), there is no justice!

  • @mcneal78 I wouldn't worry about Undertaker going to the WWE Hall of fame. There will be no waiting period. The moment he retires, he goes in. No question.

  • @PHANTOMZ0NE yes! I remember watching this too! Even when Taker was a heel I loved his character. :D Ha! Every time my cousins and I played with the action figures in the little ring I always chose to be Taker. ^^ They were scared of him. lmao.

  • Jake halfway through video: "Oh Fuck!"

  • there where undertaker bacame a face

  • not human taker

  • @Tufty3174, yes you are so right no more promos, like undertaker and paul bearer did or i guess any of them, maybe when Stephanie takes over someday she'll put her three girls to work to get this back!

  • @catlover5575 maybe

  • jake roberts is the best performer the wwe ever had

  • "Welcome. Come on in to my Funeral Parlor..."

    Uh, how 'bout NO!! lol

    2:40 That's a FACE!!

  • Look how young & tatless Taker is.

  • Jake The Snake Roberts used to snort lines of Cocaine from the shaft of The Undertakers 15 inch stiff penis.

  • my Gawd that took me back!!! I must have been the HAPPIEST kid when he became good guy here. At long last there was an evil 'good' guy know what im sayin! All u kiddies out there REALLLLY missed out durin this era! Thank God for Youtube!

  • I knew that Undertaker was going to turn against Jake Roberts when he tried to hit Miss Elizabeth with that steel chair in addition to everything else he did to her.I followed Undertaker from World Class Wrestling when he was the Punisher and then when he was Mean Mark Callous in WCW.Taker would never hit a woman. He was too much of a gentleman.

  • @mr10tomidnight , I agree I remember when Jack Roberts all most hit Elizabeth with that Chair, when Undertaker stoped him you knew he would be turning Face. I all so fallowed his career before WWE, when he was in WCCW and WCW.

  • That's what I miss with the old territory promotions of the 80's.You could keep up with them all.I saw a bunch of them get started in World Class, etc & I watched them develope into Superstars & jump from promotion to promotion.Nowadays once they leave WWE you don't see them anymore because the terrirtories R dead or if a new guy shows up on WWE I'm not asking myself "WHO IS THIS MOTHERFUCKER?Wrestling was much more fun when U could keep up with your favorites.

  • @Astraldragon1 hahaha jack roberts? i thought it was jake, yeah you really must of followed his career

  • @mr10tomidnight- Yeah even Undertaker who was heartless, couldn't believe the horrific things Jake Roberts was doing.

  • I always liked these segments like The Funeral Parlor, The Brother Love Show, and Piper's Pit (when Piper was a heel, not a face). Wasn't a fan of that damn Barber Shop. Guess he only got that because he was one of Hogan's boys. Beefcake was always a douce bag really

  • forgotten how disturbing and eerie the funeral parlour was

  • I heard that Roberts stopped bring the Cobra to the ring because the devenomized (I hope) Cobra died shortly after it bit Savage. The joke was that Savage should have been devenomized lol. That was apparently the cobra's poison.

  • February 29, 1992

  • This was such the shit back in the day...good kid memories. WCW had it going for awhile with the NWO in the late 90’s…but it is all dead now

  • thats the real ddt

  • @TheBanjo2010 No the real DDT was the one that knocked Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat into the middle of 1987.

  • i bet that snake that bit macho man had no teeth!

  • @Ashrafhossain2010 It did. It was devenomized. Jake said in a shoot that he had trouble getting the snake off of Savage.

  • WWF time was the best. The WWE sucks now!

The Undertaker theme, music and storys was better than now!

  • "NOOOOT YOURRRSSS" Epic! Great to get out of that Heel stage of his career.

  • This was just formality, people were cheering 'taker for months before this.

  • BEST FUNERAL PARLOR!!!!

  • Agreed Mayou316. I still think Jake Roberts should be in the HOF.

  • classic

  • this was the one were taker became babyface

  • what the fuck is that the undertaker !!!!

really i am always said that is the greatest wrestler at all. he has a great history.

  • I wonder how Paul Bearer got the idea to sound like Mickey Mouse

  • The Steel Chair: The single most important prop in all of WWF history.

  • Taker was the first real cool heel. I liked him as a kid and I only liked the faces at the time

  • Paul Bearer has the greatest facial expressions in the business...EVER!

  • Now this brings back some cool memories. I remember this stuff. I couldn't believe it when 'Taker stopped Jake from hitting Macho Man, and then the match at WrestleMania. Jake was such a great heel.

  • He was the greatest, in part because he COULDN'T BE REDEEMED....

  • Wow this is epic. I almost remember this like it was yesterday. Just something clicked in my head...I so remember watching this live.

  • It's true no official reason led Taker to get away from Roberts. We could say Taker felt Roberts started seriously to mix his agenda with his own. Roberts felt cheated and wanted to clean house, @including some Sweet Chair Music!!!

BOOOOOM!! A litle fun for me, none for U!!!@

  • jake the snake the wwe's first most hated heel, he was what randy orton is. jake was bettter on the mic, he had a way with words very poetic

  • If you haven't you should meet the man.. I did. Punisher.

  • this is pure awesomeness

  • I'm still wondering what's Taker's motivation that stopped Jake from attacking Elizabeth, which led to this face turn... I never saw a clean-cut answer (i.e. pity or sympathy for Elizabeth/atonement for previous misdeeds, etc)

  • Here's the motivation: So many fans were cheering for him that Vince had to turn him face and fast. There were plenty of Rest in Peace signs and styrafoam tombstones in the crowd. And, at the end of the "Tuesday in Texas" match that Taker lost to Hogan, there's a lot of boos and even a middle finger!

  • I don't recall an on-screen reason why Taker turned on Jake. They just said Taker wasn't on Jake's "side"... at least they officially ended Jake's feud with Savage!

  • @rlouie05 i have been wandering that to myself

  • Wheres Undertaker's tattoos?

  • He didn't have tattoos at this point.

  • 8:6 _ 8:10

    wooooooooow

    ohhhhhh my

  • fuckin classic!!!!!!!!!

  • great, great set-up for their feud

  • paul bearer made tha wierdest faces

  • Even in his early heel days, it was hard NOT to like 'Taker, in part because of Paul Bearer. HE WAS JUST TOO FUNNY!!!

  • yeah paul and oldschool undertaker owned!!!

  • wwe was ace back then its crap now

  • to rite these where the best days

  • @Tufty3174 Yeah ever since WCW died the WWE can do what it wants when it wants.

I've noticed that the first 15 minutes {If not longer if we are lucky} they come out and talk forever.

Now raw is ran by "special guests" each week,

What do you think should happen to make WWE better?

Do you think TNA will ever be on Monday nights to create another "Monday Night wars"

  • That question would be answered Jan 4th because TNA Impcat will do a 3-hr special that includes Hulk Hogan's TNA debut starting at 8 PM on Spike.

  • @Tufty3174 Definitely.

  • @Tufty3174 .right on all true, miz and the others totally no entertainment anymore than when these guys were

  • Man back then NO ONE ever hit Elizabeth, she was an angel. Jake was the ultimate heel just by doing that.

  • @rk9295 yeah thats why no one likes lex luger

  • Didn't Honky Tonk Man grab her and throw her to the ground before the Macho vs. Jake feud? Isn't that bad too?

  • @rlouie05 yes

  • @rk9295 I thought they might have crossed the line with having Jake Roberts slapping Elizabeth in this era.Of course,it was a second nature in ECW.

  • @landrykkb but ECW wasent around until 1993,what Roberts did with Liz was shocking & innovative in the world of pro wrestling in the 1990s,he along with Honky Tonk man are I think the 1st 2 male wrestling to engage in the act of violence against women in wrestling. ECW only intensified those angles.

  • @Necrocide187 Well,I know when ECW started, but I just pointing out by the time ECW was taking off that it was nothing to see violence committed against women in pro wrestling.

  • @Necrocide187 Kevin Sullivan smacking Precious came before this, as did Tully Blanchard slapping Baby Doll.

  • @rk9295 Jake Roberts best heel ever!! in history!!

  • Jake: "You tell me, who's side are you on?!"

    Taker: "Not yours."

From then on, Jake was completely fucked. He just didn't know it. Lol.

I really loved this storyline. It did a fantastic job of transforming the dead man from a monstrous heel to one of the greatest heroes of all time.

  • Even as a "smart" fan, so do I...but let's not take anything away from Jake. He was 'Taker before 'Taker, and Austin before Austin

  • Don't get me wrong, mate. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Jake. White hot heel, inventor of the DDT, timeless gimmick...really should be in the Hall of Fame.

  • Jake was Taker before Taker and Austin before Austin? I recall Jake being a trumpet player during McMahon's "Stand Back" performance. I can never see Undertaker do that, but I can imagine Austin doing it, especially when he broke character by wearing a suit during HOF ceremonies (he swore we'd never see him in a suit ever again in the 90's)...

  • @4:45--Short ride,bad landing

  • my friend told me that jake wrestled mr perfect before he was the intercontinental champion and beat him with the ddt . . i never saw that i dont know if its true or not?

  • i remember this like it was yestarday". . .

  • I want Taker to start doing the body bags again!

  • undertaker is 6'10 or so ....but hes looking eye to eye with jake roberts, i know jake wasnt that tall

  • jake is 6'7, u can see taker is taller.

  • Comment removed

  • Not as fat as Paul Bearer got. he got to be over 500 lbs

  • He was in a lot of trouble; but he lost a lot of weight after getting the bypass surgery.

  • shot after shoot Taker still keep keeped getting up.Main reason he is my all time Favorite back then and still is 2day,I just wish he'd still do this part of his gimmick more often.

  • That last rib shot looked serious!

  • I bet that casket weighed like 5 pounds.

  • Anyone remember the on-screen reason for Taker turning on Jake? Was he simply tired of Jake manipulating him?

  • No real reason was given. He stopped Jake from hitting Miss Elizabeth with a chair and then he was loved forever! lol

  • He just stopped Roberts from hurting Elizabeth with a steel chair at tuesday in texas...(if I remember correctly) Thus turning face in the process...building it for that segment.

  • Actually it was on SNME later on (Feb '92 or so), but you remember your storylines pretty well.

  • Yeah it was on SNME but I think it was The Main Event. It was the show that had Sid turn on Hogan.

  • It was Saturday Nights Main Event when that happened.Jake was about to hit Liz with the chair until Taker stopped him

  • The only superstar ever to have main event status for their entire WWE career. Who after 18 years in the business can still have the best damned match not only on the card at WM25 but one of THE great matches, period. Not to menion undefeated at WM for 17 years. Truly the Phenom. Hall of Fame? This guy should have his own building.

  • Eeeh yeah but that wqas the deal that he never loses at WM.

  • This maybe in the top five of all youtube posts.

  • I'm talking about your comment of course.

  • @mayou316

I agree, Taker is the cornerstone of the WWE, and has been for years, no matter who holds the belt.

  • now this was the days when wrestling was good

  • its so awesome how after getting his hand trapped in the casket & being it with the chair multiple times, he kept getting up and casing Jake while dragging the casket. ppl can say this and that about Rock, SC, HHH, Cena, Orton, or whoever. But no 1 can deny how good Taker was & still is. Taker is THE Man & is The Phenom.

  • i thought this was a mistake - cool angle yes, but taker spent the next 5 years wrestling giant useless heels like el gigante and mabel instead of being a badass...but then the people wanted to cheer for him, so whatever.

  • It's charisma that makes the character. In terms of charisma, no one can match Paul Bearer. The man was/is an absolute genius in terms of being able to entertain the wrestling fans!

  • 4:02-4:05 sounds like the undertaker is belching.

  • 8:06 mega cool
