  • OH MY GOODNESS, I just made this today & I can't keep my 6 year old granddaughter out of it till it finishes marinading! Thanks Dara!

  • would coconut oil work too?

  • @loribeth1065

    yes! warmed up :)

  • awesome gonnna try it tonight : )

  • Just made this and it is amazing!! Thanks!

  • @gracefullyalive

so glad you like it! :)

  • wheat grass? what's that?...

  • OMG!!! This is amazing! Just made it yesterday and I snarfed it down. I think this would be great on the dinner or holiday table, in place of Mac and cheese, or mashed potatoes and gravy.

  • @SouthBayHomeExpert

hi! hope you have made it again and again! :)

  • Yay! Making this tonight. You are a gem Dara, keep shining! I appreciate all of your recipes and tips that you pour your whole being into. Bless your heart!

  • And thanks for the recipe of course :) I'm definitely going to have to try it

  • @ahtnamasnworb

hope you are doing well and still eating the "popcorn" ;)

  • BEAUTIFUL necklace, it looks so gorgeous on you. Where did you get it from?

  • This "popcorn" tastes really good actually! I was pleasantly surprised :) super-easy too... Thx for uploading it!

  • @tolstunka

    glad you like!

  • I am intrigued by your recipes. I will not go TOTALLY raw, but I have started a better eating regime for the past 6 mo's. My questions - and not to be ignorant. Just wondering..what's wrong with air popping corn kernels? Are they considered not raw because they are dried? And you mentioned you can heat things and dehydrate things, so? Also, I'm interested in the yeast. What carbs do they hold, if any? I know they say yeast is "active" (living), so how does it do the body without cooking? THANKS!

  • this is yum. reminds me of macaroni and cheese except crunchy

  • I don't think you really sold the wheat grass. When you drank it, I didn't really believe you thought it was"really delicious". Come clean is it really delicious?

  • @FiveCardArmy

no! not delicious. can't fake it ;)

i am however used to it

and now like it for its benefits!

  • @FiveCardArmy I loooove wheat grass juice! sweet and tangy! Maybe I grow another kind than yours, who knows.

  • I have a question not pertaining to the popcorn. What do you think about Kamut Grass? I thought I might try that instead of Hard Red Wheat. I tried some powered wheat grass and it was way to much!!! lol I like Barley Grass ( green magma ) and I'm growing some in my window box to juice fresh. Thanks for your input~ :-)

  • can coconut oil be used in place of the olive oil?? This looks GREAT!! Thank you Dara!!

  • @mjandhim

yes! great idea! :) just liquify first ;)

  • Dara can i ask a stupid question do you drink hot tea, if not why not.

  • @wattdrum65

    i love hot tea :)

  • Thanks for the recipe!

  • Great video, Dara. So happy you shared this easy and straightforward recipe. Thanks for the gift! xo

  • Hi Dara!

Thanks for all the great recipes. I have only just begun on my Raw and Living Foods journey so these recipes really are very helpful. I tried the cauliflower popcorn and it was great!

  • Besides being beautiful, and fun to watch (you : ) - I'm learning something from each of your vids.

    Thank you!!!

    sheila

p.s you can really throw back that wheatgrass. Yikes. Im still too toxic to be able to drink that much w/o feeling nauseous. But I'll get there.

  • Looks good, howver, califlower, cabbage, brussels sprouts, kale, broccoli, and collard greens make me blow-up like the Goodyear blimp! Why is that?

  • I love wheatgrass, but I don't have an extractor (just a juicer).

  • Woot! I'm having my shot of wheat grass, bottoms up!

  • where do u buy the wheat grass?do u get your b12 from yeast or u take supplements

  • I've been making raw popcorn with cauliflower by mixing dry seasonings in a bowl such as cumin, paprika (smoked or not), coriander, cardamom, turmeric, garlic, Himalayan salt, and cayenne. I toss the cauliflower with a generous amount of spices and enjoy! No water or oil. Nutritional yeast would be a great addition.

  • @Jacki3300 Oh, I also use this cauliflower in a wrap with chopped romaine, onion, a few slices of something pickled and tahini sauce drizzled over it.

  • I love these videos, nice to have the option to snack sometimes.

  • I hear Nutritional Yeast is good source of B Vitamins (or B12)?

  • @lovsoup

    yes 2T a day :)

  • You have beautiful Skin.. it's agreeing with you.... i would throw up after wheat grass. i am a sissy (or toxic.) with wheat grass... i can have any other supergreen, but wheat grass churns my stomach

  • @lovsoup

thank you, i used to hate wheatgrass. now i have no problem with it.

guess my body needs it. it is a very strong detoxifier. a little perhaps? ;)

  • @lovsoup I would have to say that your most likely guessing right your body is toxic. Wheat grass is a huge detoxifier and also considered an antiparasitic so if your feeling ill after your drinking it your detoxing your body the more raw you eat the easier it will be to drink wheat grass. Some people wait awhile after converting to a raw food diet before drinking wheatgrass as it is quite potent remember 1oz is equal to 2.5lbs of greens try following the wheat grass with fruit juice..

  • @ocbc1975 I think it makes more sense that you get used to wheat grass not because you're less toxic when eating raw foods for a while,...but because you're more used to those types of flavors. People that eat meat are probably going to be shocked eating wheat grass because the flavor is so unlike what their tongue is used to.

  • a simple, tasty healthy snack. sounds like a winner to me Dara. Thanks.

  • @obeunimess

a winner. a staple, a pleaser. just add water to your desired consistency. i added too much water. still delish though. :)

  • I've never seen anyone in the raw food community on YouTube grow so fast with such positive feedback. Working with Dan spring boarded you and now you're off and running. - it's great to see because unfortunately much of the raw food community ends up trying to sell snake oil type products because they have high profit margins. Can you imagine if Jesus went around preaching love and then tried to sell you something ;) - health and love were meant to be a gift. You seem different, more sincere.

  • @thewaterfalloflove

what wonderful words to hear and know that it is the truth. i share

because it is in my heart to do so. it is my love and my joy.

i believe abundance follows in many forms when doing what brings sparkle in

our lives. so you, by seeing and expressing this, brings abundance to both of us.

your kind words bring more joy and i thank you. :) Sincerely, ;) Dara

  • Very cool! Nutritional yeast? Sounds like a good substitute for a former cheez-o-holic like me. Now, finding a jar/bag of that is gonna be tougher. :)

  • @beltonism

where are you? people are telling me they are able to find it!

  • @daradubinet Finland :) but no worries cause I did find it! It's just called "brewers yeast" here. It's marketed under superfood for some reason.. Silly marketers..

  • @beltonism I have found nutritional yeast at any health food store and I live in the Mid West (MI). If you go to a health food store and ask, I would imagine the staff could direct you. :)

  • Nutritinal yeast is a staple in my diet, i love it its an amazing product! Thank you again beautiful ;)

  • @elfe1982

nice to see you Elfe. what is your fave way to use it?

  • @daradubinet Mostly I sprinkle it over salads and on raw soups and it becomes creamy, i also sprinkle it over kelp or seeweed noodles kind of like fake parmesan cheese..hehe I don't eat nut butters or sauces with high fat contents everyday, but when i do i would make cheese sauces or nut cheeses for special occations :) i kind of use it as a salt replacement..it is YUM and so healthy..

  • yummeroo!!!!

  • Thanks Dara - this recipe tastes great! I love nutritional yeast, it's the best. We can get it in stores in the uk now thanks for the recipe ;)

  • @nyxs60

oh i am so glad you can get it! fun cheesy product with B12. yay.

  • Another great video. You have one of the best YouTube video quality. You have a great camera person

  • @tracychecotah

thank you so much. the camera person is a friend or an assistant or my daughter.

we are happy over here and that helps. :)

  • do you grow your own wheatgrass?what do you use to juice your wheatgrass?

  • @haaya123

i buy a tray of grass for $10 and i use a Samson juicer. :)

  • your eyes are so beautiful but please don't drink that in front of me again. ; )

  • @ZeBeFruity this is too funny, really. :D

    was it the green teeth?

  • @daradubinet i lived at ohi for a summer. we drank that ish by the pint, put it in every orafice, soaked in it. did things with it i can't even say. 18 years later i still can't even walk past lawns without wanting to throw up. but you go girl, whatever blows your dress up

  • Can you please please please tell me what or where you get the nutritional yeast at I see so many different sketchy internet sites and I don't know any stores I can get it at.

  • @MrJohn90

    can you google it?

i find it at natural food stores. befriend me on FB. a lot of my friends get their questions answered on my page

big raw food following there :)

  • you're pretty:)

  • @MoreThanJustSkinDeep

    aww. thanks :)

  • Oh cool! What a great idea!!!

  • my sis got me some of the nutritional yeast and ive never used it. thanks for showing me what to do with that stuff !!..waves~~~

  • @crosspecans

    make her this dish? :)

  • Very creative. Nutritional yeast makes my eyes puffy the next day, but it sure tastes good.

  • @neroli528

oh, perhaps my eyes get puffy too from that. :)

oh well, it is a treat.

  • I've been reading that Whole Foods has been bought by Monsanto. ??? If true I cannot find it in myself to shop there. Awesome video Dara!

  • @dread313

    oh that can't be true.

i shop at our co-op much of the time.

  • @daradubinet It's not. I had to look more into it. But there have been interesting articles on Whole Foods "selling out" with Whole foods stance with Monsanto. I googled Whole Foods Monsanto.

  • I love wheatgrass!!

  • @ABPASupport

    me too!!!

  • You look like you have pure sun inside glowing from with in .

    very cool ..
