  • I still love watching this video (after several years of discovering it). Such a perfect marriage of sound and visual. The newspaper canvas technique is so unique, plus I'm a sucker for the Glass.

  • just saw your piece,,so original and inspiring !! wow ,,thank you

  • very cool stuff. I really dig your technique. Much more effective than my own. Well done.

  • I liked Eggshell Romero. Great work!

  • That's really cool, and love that all those people are made up. I love Glass' piece from Mishima. I've never heard the Delta Saxaphone version. I dig it all.

  • Wow, incredible! Did you use carbon paper for the outlines, or did you draw each frame freehand? It looks AMAZING. I love your style.

  • thanks I drew each one on different pieces of newspaper with a sharpie pen and the brown paint is actually wood stain.

  • actually all these people are made up. And this is actually not on the Mishima soundtrack. I used The Delta Saxophone Quartet doing the piece "Closing" from Mishima. If you'll notice The film soundtrack used strings- not woodwind.

  • This is the soundtrack to the movie "Mishima". Phillip Glass is awesome, isn't he? I love his music.

BTW nice work and nice to remember people who died so long ago.
