I was fortunate to be in Europe for a fine and performing arts tour with WWU in the fall of '87, and this was big in the discos! Funny that I never realized the singer was a woman! I just rediscovered my 12" vinyl this weekend and the memories flooded back! Also big then: Rick Astley, Terence Trent D'Arby...*sigh*

The first time I saw this video I got a shock when I noticed it was shot at a Ritzy nightclub as you can see the sign at 00:08 I used to work at Ritzy in Bolton now called Ikon. Still great video and love the catchy beat :-)
