when you are done with BMT i heard you can get deployed? im joining the airforce after i graduate in a couple months if this is true what are the chances of you being deployed???????
@loveandnapalm I hope you understand what the world climate is like right now, and that you're not some retiree that's saying you never got deployed back in the day. It's different now. Been here six months and have already seen 40 of my friends get deployed...

Can someone explain to me how some are able to graduate from BMT and still not have a single stripe? I just do not understand why so many have none and so many have one. I know if they have two or three stripes its probably because of college, but why do some have one and some have none?
@xonoma When you intially sign up either you sign up for 4 years with college and depending on your credits you graduate you get 1 or 2 stripes. If you enlist for 6 years with no college you get 2 stripes at tech school and you graduate with none. thats usually how the process works.
Why do some of the airmen not have the wings on their right sholders?

@caca702 after tech school you can be deployed. the chances of an air force member being deployed during their career is 100%
