I think that Mars has been struck by a asteroid or a comet at ancient time and has lost most, if not all water it had on the surface and lost the balance of the atmosphere, and now it's resting it's silent sleep forever
Haha, I caught that too. But I think it's okay. I also noticed that she said "Olympus Mon" when it is really "Olympus Mons". This translates in Latin to "Mount Olympus", which is, of course, famous for being the home of the Greek Olympian Gods under Zeus. Mount Olympus is also a real mountain in Greece, where it is the tallest in the country at 9,577 feet. Also, 'Olympus Mons' is about three times as tall as Mount Everest, not twice as tall :) .
What a nice smile. I felt that, at 1:09 you were talking while sitting on the toilet. Anyone else get that impression? I may be wrong but I could swear I heard you say magmatude. Love the videos.
Mars's polar ice caps freeze it's carbon dioxide atmosphere in the winter into dry ice. When the summer rolls around, the carbon dioxide melts and this effectively results in a bunch of new gas suddenly appearing which results in massive wind storms as the atmosphere readjusts itself.
I really shouldn't say this but when are you going to talk about Uranus? I had to say it because you left it open, just being a wiseguy. Nice info. Now when I see my nephew I won't feel so dumb. He's an astrophysicist studying black holes.
Did you know that the gravity at the center of the planet Mars is zero. Anything that is floating around in space has zero gravity at its center. This probably is directly related to volcanic activity and other dynamic behaviors. It probably has to do with pole shifting as well. But then again maybe pole shifting could be caused by meteor strike, or some yet to be detected space phenomenon.
It is not known whether this applies to black holes. Based on our current knowledge, the best guess is that material inside a black hole collapses to a single point. You couldn't say what the gravity is at that point because it is a mathematical singularity. Of course, something else may happen there that we don't yet know about.
Point of Singualrity = exponentially Insane Gravity. Density of Mass disturbing the fabric of Space Time = Gravity, one of the nuclear forces, where the laws of conventional Physic break down (in a black hole) and Quantum Physics / Mechanics take over.
I recall reading somewhere that males seeing female cleavage (I don't mean nudity) can help concentration levels and ability to retain information during the day. Not sure if it's true or not, though, lol.
