I so admired Ryan White (I am just about his age) and remember so well the turmoil he went through. Michael was wonderful to support him (as was Elton John). I have never forgotten Ryan or Michael and Elton's support of him. Especially touching to me was Jeannie White's recent revelation that Michael had stayed in touch with her and that she'd last heard from him only 2 years ago (nearly 17 years after Ryan's death) on Mother's Day. A haemophiliac, he became infected with HIV from a contaminated blood treatment and, when diagnosed in 1984,at age 14 and dies at age 19 5yrs later april 8,1990
