This video is just done to show what can aviation lovers do. Not to argue. When you love aviation, you respect all pionners ......... I don't care to know who was the first, I just admire their courage ... with the technology at that time it was outstanding !!!
The american brothers were searching for "patents", say, money. Do not forget the time they incorporated many things from others (Dumont, Voisin, Blériot) in their third plane, this one was totaly surclassed by Demoiselle. Only AFTER 1939, during a campaign to stir patriotism among americans, the USA accepted they as "the inventors".
A-You have some very nice video, I too like to fly indoor. I like the set up on your 14 bis. Nice link between the aileron and nose wheel. I am hoping to post some of my videos soon. It's just that how can you claim that 14 bis first airplane?
Thank you for your tribute to one of my favorite aviation pioneers and for keeping the dream of Alberto Santos-Dumont alive. Great footage! I would love to see a re-creation of the Santos-Dumont airship no. 9, too!
