  • What amazing talent! ... I am trying to promote another yet undiscovered artist with a really amazing voice. Please visit my channel, watch some videos and tell me what you think.

  • Beautiful music sung by a beautiful person.

  • Great feeling version. Love it. ...pappy

  • I love the Stones version, but I love this version too. It's simply a bit different take on a great song. I actually think this way brings out the true beauty of the lyrics better than Mick ever could. He's smiling, he gets a cut as writer, and it keeps their stuff in front of people longer. You have to remember, many people that hear this version don't have a clue to the Stones version. If you don't like it, or her, to damn bad. I feel sorry for you.

  • I'm a big Stones fan. I must admit I find this version quite moving.

  • this is the worst cover of a stones sing i've ever heard (including pub band covers!!!) this is one of those songs where it doesn't matter how good you are technically as a singer but the point is to get the EDMOTION across!!!! It doesn't matter how well she can hold a note if i she doesn't have the emotional depth to express the message of the song!!!

  • wow! so much emotion! tears!

  • shes a shiing example how we judge pple by apperance and ignore the thought of them actally being something amazing on the inside

  • @Gingababe123 no she's actually an example of how executives realise they can make more money out selling someone with an "ugly duckling" story, than they can "beautiful people" to the mass populace. Yes she can sing, but is she one of the greatest singers I've ever heard? No: she's only famous because reality tv executives saw the financial potential behind promoting her as much as they could, if you disagree with me just wait five years and see how well she's remembered then...

  • @graric money money money...pple are all the same, screw seeing it her her personal point of view lets think of it from how much cash she gets in her purse. Susan boyle went on that stage and people thought she was going to be crap, she showed them wrong end of story

  • @Gingababe123: If they really thought she was going to be crap she wouldn't have made it past the first round of auditions: I really have no problems with her personally, I just don't like the reason she is famous and I think this is a rubbish cover of a classic stones song (having said that I think the Sticky Fingers version was pretty dodgy, but the stripped one was brilliant)

  • @graric urghh im not going to waste my time debating over susan boyle

  • @graric Well she's more than half way through the five years you mentioned and she's holding up pretty well.

Whatever, I suspect you were one of the 15 minutes of fame merchants at the beginning, and have since moved on to 5 years. Well 5 years isn't bad in the pop game these day. I suspect dear Susan will have $40 million in the bank by then and can retire gracefully at that point. Job done! I do hope so.

  • shes ruined a perfectly incredible song by the rolling stones. shes killed a classic

  • Just imagine if she had not been discovered, and we never had the opportunity to hear her sing. What a waste it could have been.

  • the piano is reeally poor IMHO, doesnt touch the stones'

  • that touchs your soul both susan and the stones give her a break makes me cry happy tears love you susan keep them coming

  • Hey Susan fans Tweet & FB this news:Come greet Susan SUNDAY Nov.21 2010 @ JFK Airport NEW YORK City,@1:45 pm ,Terminal 7 and do wear your RED SCARVES because she loves it when you do . • WOW

  • susan boyle is amazing all i can say is never judge a book by its cover people 4get 2 quickley.

  • stunning!! stunning!! stunning!! i know that this is almost profanity to the die hard rolling stones fans, but i like this version so much better.

  • @rbcclis I think your so right.

  • I think your so right.

  • this is my song for my grandson, who I don't get to see anymore!!! Makes me cry and miss him even more.............Susan's voice just haunts me..........thankyou, thankyou for this.................

  • goose bumps much?

  • She has a magnificent voice. I absolutely mean that.

Had she risen to fame in the 70s, I have a really good feeling that she would be considered a legend right now.

  • Susan Boyle is my hero. <3

  • this is a beautifil rendition of the stones song ,ok!!

  • @safffarm a nice, caring person you may be. I judged you on your ridiculous comment. Nice people aren't exempt from idiocy. Hoping you die, however, is not something I agree with, that was harsh but this is Youtube. I just hope you realise that not everyone agrees with Simon Cowell and company. I wish they would go and die, and stop earning money off other people's talent. He's a pimp and Boyle is his latest bitch. Guess what? You're the trick. Think about it.

  • @MisskJ1221 i love her version of this song, she has a beautiful voice, but i have always been a fan of seventies music, and actually agree that the stones version is much better as it is original, and they are a great group. love all their records. and groups like t rex, slade, beatles, kinks, etc. are also in my fave list.

  • Why is Susan Boyle so popular? Here's why: When she walked out on stage for the 1st time, almost every BGT viewer judged her on her appearance and assumed she was another clown. When she showed how well she could sing, everyone was blown away because they had already made their mind up.

This speaks volumes about the muppets who watch the show. It also shows how fucked the music industry is as it has people judging artists on their looks not talent.

    Reading comments like safffarms.....

  • @007hor cont.......makes me laugh.

Mick Jagger is constantly voted into the top 5 in best frontmen polls, this is quite an accolade. If it wasn't for these truly great musicians, semi talented artists such as Susan Boyle, would not have great songs to sing.

You will do well to remember that.

  • @007hor yes i have to agree actually. you are right. i do like her version of this song, but much prefer original artists and groups from the sixties and seventies. the stones version is top, ive got to agree, thanks for pointing this out. forget what i said before

  • Why cover an already perfect song, you just degrade it after that.

  • erg goed toch ????

  • Comment removed

  • @safffarm you stupid cunt. I can't believe you said that.

  • @safffarm Wow, what a fucking moron you are.

  • @safffarm I hope you die

  • Susan Boyle does a beautiful job with Wild Horses. I compared both versions, this one and the version on stage. I prefer the one on stage, its more dramatic and the lower register of her voice is incredible. I wish that had been included in the single. But both are lovely.

  • Susan, I love you... but nothing compares to the Stones' version.

  • this is bullshit.

  • This was always my favorite Rolling Stones but Susan's version blows the Stones out of the water....I actually understand the words now. Stones put on a fantastic concert, but I never thought Jagger could sing...and I still don't think he can. Susan rocks! Bravo!!!

  • Not a patch on the original.. no where near as much soul

  • @MarthaJasmine Say what?

A song thats left so many with goosebumps could not possibly be soulless. Both versions are absolutely incredible. Susan does it justice.

  • Oh my god people. I am so happy that this songbird who calls herself Susan Boyle did not go through this life un-known. I fell so blessed that I didn't leave this earth without her angelic voice to calm my soul. She brings great peace in these rough times of a job loss. And I feel things are gonna work out. If they don't, I will still have her to get me through that as well.

    God bless you Susan Boyle

  • if silence is golden then this rendition is superbe, well done to Susan, she made her dream come true, may all the critics thnk twice before judging a book by it's cover, within it's pages is a rare beauty.

  • CHOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Flamorgan Go ahead - who cares - you're taste in music is?

Let me guess - Urban tuneless tat. Am I right?

  • @dossery100 No, you are incorrect and you dont get a crackerjack pencil lol

  • @Flamorgan A 'crackerjack pencil '- you're older than I thought!

    Sincere apologies!

  • @dossery100 Susan is an excellent singer, but this song does neither Susan nor the original version any credit, I just hope that she wanted to sing it and not her management as I much prefer the songs that Susan wanted to sing herself if you know what I mean, must say that my original comments were a tad harsh and as such I will remove them

  • @Flamorgan Can't remember what you said,(wrist though comes to mind) but you are entitled to your view anyway. Could'nt disagree more though - I think this is hauntingly beautiful and by far the best thing she has done so far. This I think is the majority opinion - but I accept this does not automatically mean its the correct one.Best regards!!!

  • I'm listening to it over and over.. what a song susan

  • I agree with Adam and Johnny Lydon.

  • Wow moved me to tears amazing!!!!!!!!

  • I think this is the most amazing single to be released in my lifetime. That's how good this is. Period.

  • who really cares what Adam Lambert thinks--Mick Jagger LOVED Susan's version and called it "haunting" and "better than his own version." Pretty high praise if you ask me--makes you wonder about Lambert's credibility.

  • If you would like susan to record The Journey please visit meryl heasman on you tube...and leave a comment. Thanks.

  • I've listened to all the versions of this song on youtube and this is far and away the best treatment and best voice. It's absolutely beautiful.

  • She's wonderful. This is a beautiful arrangement of the song for her. However, they blew it. Held in her voice too much and too much volume on instruments behind her. It lacks the power it had when she sang it on stage. That's how it should have been....

  • I looked this up after Adam Lambert commented on it... Ha ha, I kinda think he was right. The original is better. That's not to say Susan isn't talented, because she is very talented. I just think the Rolling Stones are better.

  • fairplay I love subo <3

  • old school

  • Have a listen to Georgia Overtons' version. It's really good. she was on BGT 2010

  • Tää on kauniisti laulettu !! x) Very good song ! =P

  • Beautiful!

  • Beautiful!!

  • Thought that nothing could 'drag me away' from the Strolling Bones's version. Well hey, how galvansised can any of us get on opinion?!

This sound is so spiritual....leaves Mick, Keef, in the backroom...albeit for now.

  • That was bitchin man!!

  • who is Adam Lambert? Love this one too Susan!

  • merveilleuse susan je suis au paradis quand je t'entend ta voix elle vient du ciel

c'est dieu qui nous lenvoir , merci

  • Adam Lambert insulted this because he is jealous of Susan's crazy success-- I mean, she's sold what? over 8 million cds? How many has he sold. Heh.

Susan is clearly the best talent discovered in one of those reality shows in a long, long time.

  • omgosh she's amazing

  • What a beautiful song!!!...Well done Susan!!!

  • I love this almost haunting version of this song.

    tks for posting.

  • Zij is echt FANTASTISCH haar stem echt niet normaal en ze zette iedereen bij Britains got talent versteld!!!!!!!!!! Love Her!!!!!!

  • I've heard Adam Lamberts music. It's not very funny. It's just sad.

  • This is a great cover of a classic Stones song, well done Susan.

Good call below Bill, I listened to Sarah Billington as well, left me stunned tbh.

  • shes not much to look at but her voice is amazing, really chilling song too. nice 1 SuBo

  • This is such a beautiful song and sung beautifully too. Susan sings with such passion and has enriched the world with her voice. Reading other peoples comments which debase Susan well I feel sorry for these people if these words can't reach their soul.

  • @joanmary11 Well said!!!

  • natesmom,Mick, was not only impressed ,with Susan .Rendition of this song.Mick WANTS Susan To sing a duet with him.

  • such an amazing voice go on susan love it ..

  • This is my all-time favorite song and although I love the Stone's version, I must say I am blown away by Susan's vocals and the emotion she pours into the song. I'll bet Jagger and Richards would agree she does this song more than enough justice. Well done Susan, keep on singing from the heart.

  • Susan thank you for taking a Rolling Stones classic and putting your inimitable spin on it Your beautiful ballad is riveting.....You are such a musical gift to millions of us

  • beautiful

  • She has so much emotion in her voice.... it touches the soul.. God bless you Susan Boyle

  • Great performance and vocals from a lovely humble lady with a great voice.

As mentioned below checked out Sarah Billington, amazing for 15

  • Fantastic!!

  • This is a really good song after Susan Boyle shocked the world but she AMAZING!!

  • im not going to lie she sounds really good, im even cosidering listening to the album now.

  • @dustyskates

You're just another loser spewing negativity because you are far, far too coarse to

perceive the delicate and profound emotion in this sensitive, artistic soul. And your sad little attempt at pop psychology..."an underdog complex running amok. I think subconsciously people think " etc. etc... only accents your personal deficiency. Are you afraid to try to do something creative? And if, in fact, you have

    done so, WHERE IS IT???

  • Sie ist so Wunderbar mit Ihrer sanften Stimme

  • garbage

  • hi this video shocked me a lot and continues to encourage such a great voice

  • my mom likes this song ¬_¬

  • she is a hope giver. She is a brilliant, bright and twinkling star in a dark age of deception. Pure raw talent with a rightful belief in herself. I applaud you Susan Boyle, I admire your bravery. You stri kea primordial chord in the hearts of every being....you make us remember we all have to believe in ourselves to achieve our dreams. Thank you.

  • Go Susan! You rock! Until they capture hearts the world over and sell records by the thousands all the Susan haters out there need to shut the hell up. Why are they even on here? Jealous much?

  • cant believe it aye she is amazing looks dont matter she has good talent and shes GREAT!!!

  • lols shes awesome as!

  • She sounds slightly like Madonna at times although Susan's voice has more depth and emotion. Beautifiul version. I hope Susan goes from strength to strength.

  • wonderful voice,

  • very very beautiful.

  • Very touching and emotional performance, well done Susan, 5 Stars.

As said below Young Sarah Billington also sings this beautifully.

  • this almost made me cry :')

  • i'm starting to love susan. .great voice:)

  • goosebumps :0

  • i see comments that Susan is being used, by Simon, etc. If you can catch it, there is a special on her on Comcast (the tv guide channel). When Susan lost BGT, Simon went to her and told her he would keep his promise, that she would record an album. What is truly touching is Simon's confession that Susan's performance @ BGT showed him a side of himself that he did not like. So.

  • amazing. i never heard of this until it was mentioned on American Idol the other night. This woman has a beautiful voice, and is very inspiring. Don't fret over the negative comments = there's always karma. it doesn't matter if you don't believe, it's real!

  • jE LOVE CE SONG!

  • my granda taught susan boyle:L.

  • I had never heard of this song until Susan made it famous. She puts her whole heart into singing. Flawlessly done. That is the beauty of music: how it reveals and reaches the emotions. God given. Refreshing.

  • Great song SUSAN !!! Please 'reduce' the vocal vibrato in your future songs.

  • hey....I've done the exact the same thing that natesmom 2244 did which was to hear it on you tube after hearing Lambert's comments. I am Christian and one thing God teaches us in the bible is to remain humble and not put down others. Susan did great on this song. Sadly, people's egos become more than they can handle and it becomes SO easy to put others down. Again...great job Susan!!

  • i agree , nice to hear :)

  • i looked this song up after adam lambert said he thought is was "terrible" and laughed til he cried over it... adam, shame on you ! Susan's version is amazing. i am embaressed to have been such a huge fan of adam lambert now

  • @natesmom2244 Amen!!!!! Susan Boyle blows Adam Lambert out of the water anyday... he is nothing compared to susan.. she is an amazing angelic soul:)

  • @natesmom2244 I did the exact same thing thinking it might really have been bad. "Shame on you" is the right thing to say. He's turned out to be quite a different person from who he seemed to be on Idol.

  • @natesmom2244 Just a guy so stuffed, he couldn't see out of his own orifice. Nevermind eh, his loss evidently!

  • @natesmom2244 I'm not embaressed to be a fan of Adam cause he has the right to have an opinion.

  • @AmyLopes1995 Yes, he has every right to have an opinion - pity it's the wrong one. He obviously has no appreciation whatsoever, of what a fine singing voice iactually sounds like - and it sounds like Susan Boyle. Doubtless, it's because he has been brought up on a diet of modern tuneless 'tripe' and as a result knows no better. Regards from UK.

  • @dossery100 opinions can't be wrong or right :S they're opinions. he said he likes Susan's voice, he only said he hated the song. I agree with Adam, but i think Susan is very talented.

  • OMG. The way she sings this song gives me total goosebumps, in a good way. WOW, WHAT A VERY TALENTED WOMAN....I WANT HER VOICE GOD...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...PRETTY PLEASE.......

    Susan, WOW. AMAZING VOICE....

  • quite beautiful. if you don't like it, please don't ruin the song for everyone by leaving a pointless comment.

  • well obviously you came by to check it out..she came who she wanted to be and she made it,she obviously has fans out there who love her singing, she made it and that's that..let's just all be happy for her..

  • Not bad at all. After Lambert's comments I expected something much more horrific. Let's not forget, she's not professionally trained (supposedly).

  • Simply beautiful.... thank god we found her. A new national treasure in the making. <3 <3

  • I love this song. It's pretty... and she has a pretty voice. So... it works.

  • Annoying vibrato is annoying

  • Yes...annoying vibrato IS in fact annoying...but she's got good vibrato...

    The timing is perfect.

  • BeautifulMusicful

You are more annoying than any vibrato.

  • Good cover, well done Susan, you deserve the success with such a beautifull voice.

Also found an amazing 15 yr old singing this, Sarah Billington, Well worth a look.

  • What a stupid comment!

  • EAT SHIT FROM A CAMEL'S ASS

  • Susan Boyle has more class than the people who call her terrible names. She has a great voice and is an inspiration to many. I Love this version of a beautiful song. Go Susan!!

  • This, "Glittermuffingurrl" (by the way great name. Probably as classless as you are) is so fucking LAUGHABLE it's PATHETIC :]. "OMG, I'm such a complete metal head- I'm soo HARDCORE. . ." HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

to quote this moron. WHAT A LOSER !!!

  • I like her cover of this song. However, I like The Sundays' version better than any of them.

  • I gotta defend Adam on this one. I thought what Susan did in her audition was great but I find myself incredibly bored by this. I don't like all of Adam's music but at least it's not boring.

  • meh not without it's charm. Nowhere near the greatness of the original track off of Sticky Fingers.

  • Oh my God. <3 :) This is great.

  • such a buetiful women inside and out

  • I don't like it

  • shanicy94

    WHO CARES WHAT YOU LIKE?

  • shanicy94

Yes, you have a right to your stupid opinion.

  • I have absolutely NO interest in Susan Boyle. I only looked this up because I heard about Adam Lambert knocking her cover... and I have to say, she did an INCREDIBLE job. Adam's just pissed that she topped him on the charts. :P What a loser...

  • @glittermuffingurrl

omg I just did that same thing . I saw on MSN that he blasted her Album ! He should be happy for her . Nice job SUSAN ! also Kris Allen is the one who should be pissed he won the show and I think his cd sold a total of 100,000

  • @darrylcc2003

HAHA! I think I saw it on MSN, too! That's funny... All his comment did was get a bunch more people looking into Susan Boyle... I don't even LISTEN to this type of music--I'm a total metal head--and I've listened to this song, like, 3 times now. GO SUSAN!!! :D

  • @darrylcc2003 He didn't "blast her album" he said "Im happy for her success, but that album is terrible." they have two completely different styles i honestly don't think his intentions were to "blast her album" It's not like he was twirling his villainous imaginary mustache when he said it lol
