@gebass6 ,I like him to , and I do agree with what your saying, sounds like he uses a lot of walking and bebop patters in his solos , sounds like they were transposed from 60's jazz upright bass. Which isn't a bad thing.
What would Gene Simmons do here Yes i don't think this guy will make it in music unless he changes his name to
Bernie Brunelli Form Brooklyn ,France , no france doesn't work how 'bout Buffallo, Yes Bernie Brunelli from buffallo he needs a Gene Simmons make over
Then he could have a bright future with Whitesnake or one of the other bigger touring acts...alice Cooper may need a Bassist he'll have to learn to side step , the Flares and smoke bombs though . I hope he's coordinated
I had seen BB in a Carvin catalogue with his Carvin line of basses. It gave me an excuse to check him out on youtube. I'm glad I did. Phenominal bassist.
haha! i just borrowed this guy's book on modes and improvisation from my library today. i looked through it, seems pretty damn helpful, actually. also, his solo rocks my socks
Looks damn hard and looks like it will take some time to get used to for me. I never thought about fingering, but the exercises in his book seem really useful.
Jeff should really get more clinical , i'm tired of his lack of chops on his studio releases ...i have some of Jeffs CD i'm scared to listen to them near sharp objects . I really liked CAB 2 where Brunell does alot of the writing he used an ART Night Bass Effect and the Carvin Gear , it sounds Huge . any other good CAB stuff i should check out ??
Yeah, don't waste the effort to type it. Some people will never get the the truth of that statement. Rap artists squabble over such things. REAL rockers get together and jam!
Whoa, blakhaus! You obviously have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. Jason Becker used to play Carvins, Steve Vai endorses the amps and acoustic. This guy in the video is fucking insane! And I use them and can probably own your ass on guitar!
I don't have the whole song. I didn't even plan on shooting in movie-mode on my point and shoot camera. My arms were tired... the songs were like 6 to 8 minutes each... come on. Carvin said that they will be putting together a DVD of the performances that day, so look for that.
Sorry, I did it in spurts with my digital camera. My arms kept getting tired. The whole thing was shot with a three person video crew for a Carvin DVD. Keep your eyes open for that!
Wow... inspiring as always... at least you got the important part... ;)

Bunny is just fine, but there is a certain note pattern phase that he uses far,far too much. And I hear it every time I hear him play.

Bunny Brunnel - the anit-groove... To many notes, not enough pocket.

Bunny Brunell sounds like the name of a hot blonde porn star not somebody that looks like this.

How does Carvin stay in business. Everything they make is crap.
blakhaus 4 years ago
I hope you die for saying that. Well, that's a little harsh, but my carvin gear has been noting short of amazing.

Now amp-queers like me are here: Roland JC-120 or Fender Blues Junior for Rhodes
HammondB200 3 years ago
i would go with the jc-120, i believe it's got a bigger headroom, so it will not tend to distort on higher volumes that much
