New Rocky and Rambo were great. Die Hard 4.0 was so so... I haven't seen Tron yet. But if they gonna make whole Ghostbusters 3 in front of bluescreen and using CGI like they did with Indiana Jones 4, please forget it... Indiana Jones 4 was so huge pile of sh*t that I don't want to see them ruining THE Ghostbusters too.

New ideas? there are no new ideas because they are making recraps of old stuff and most of the movies doing later sequels are better than most of the remakes.

@videozfann - I could be into a Ghostbusters 3, but if it's just going to be about the older guys passing the torch to the younger ones, then forget that. That's pretty much a remake hiding behind a sequel.
I also even think seeing the four older ones taking on ghosts would just be sad since all four of them are old men now, and out of shape. But if done right, it could add to the comedy.

I met Bill when I worked at one of his golf restaurants and he's an amazingly funny guy in person, and he's HUGE. I'm 6'1'' and he towered over me it seemed. He was also very gracious; the girl that waited on him just served him a salad and he tipped her over a hundred bucks. Also he went nuts singing at his celebrity event that night and it was awesome to see such character in person. Good guy all around it seems.
if bill doesnt do it, i think a great idea would be to have winson, ray and egon, but for bills replacement i think it would be a great idea to have "baby oscar" from part 2 be all grown up and training to be the new ghostbuster after all they saved his and his mothers life.

I think nobody wanted to do the second movie and that's why it turned out the way it did. The studio forced the sequel upon them much like Halloween II was forced upon John Carpenter.

I think its awesome that he won't just do a movie to get a paycheck. He actually wants the movie not to suck. Most actors take whatever movie they can get and don't care if the movie will blow chunks or not.

Ghostbusters are boring all of a sudden. Ghostbusters Salt Lake City. Ghostbusters Denver. Ghostbusters L.A. ..Anybody can be a Ghostbuster! It seems like it's well within anybody's grasp to be a Ghostbuster,...and so big whoopee,.. it's just not very heroic anymore when anybody can do it.. That killed it for me.

I just wonder how they would create a script with them being much older now. But then again their age could work for them in this case. The movie could be centered around what the have been doing since GB2.
Much as i would love to see Ghostbusters 3 happening, i really think Bill's arguments here are very strong.
GB 3 should not be made just because we want another one, but because there has to be a real reason as far as the storyline goes.
Against all odds, Rocky Balboa turned out to be a pretty good movie, and a much better ending to the Rocky series then the 5th one, but when you look at Indiana Jones and Rambo, they really made those for no real reason other then making 'another one'.

IMHO GB2 was really good untill the ending. The end screws up the whole dark theme of the rest of the film with Vigo in the painting. The whole Vigo storyline was much darker and closer to actual ghost thrillers then Gozer, almost Exorcist type spooky... But then when they use the mood-slime to bring the statue of liberty to live, that was 360 digree turn into something childish and laughable.
I think the responce to ghostbusters the video game should encourage them to green-light the new ghostbusters game simply as the world wants more ghostbusters! :D but i think it would be interesting becasue Bill Murray is right the first one was the best and the second one was okay! :D
the game was not based between one and two.. that makes NO sense. It was based on a script that ackroid wrote called basically "ghostbusters go to hell" witch never got a green light.

As much as i'd love to see the Ghostbusters back if the movie has a shitt script i don't want it to be made. This is coming from a huge Ghostbuster fan. I'm glad Bill isn't just stepping on board for a mediorce script he actually wants it to be good. I admire that.

Murray didn't wanna be in GB2 (he and a few from the cast actually), it really showed in how they acted in the film. To my surprise, he didn't care much for GB1, tho' that one was the best! As for GB3, well. we'll just have to see how that plays out...IF it plays out at all!

I think its awesome that he won't just do a movie to get a paycheck. He actually wants the movie not to suck. Most actors take whatever movie they can get and don't care if the movie will blow chunks or not.

Ghostbusters are boring all of a sudden. Ghostbusters Salt Lake City. Ghostbusters Denver. Ghostbusters L.A. ..Anybody can be a Ghostbuster! It seems like it's well within anybody's grasp to be a Ghostbuster,...and so big whoopee,.. it's just not very heroic anymore when anybody can do it.. That killed it for me.

Much as i would love to see Ghostbusters 3 happening, i really think Bill's arguments here are very strong.
GB 3 should not be made just because we want another one, but because there has to be a real reason as far as the storyline goes.
Against all odds, Rocky Balboa turned out to be a pretty good movie, and a much better ending to the Rocky series then the 5th one, but when you look at Indiana Jones and Rambo, they really made those for no real reason other then making 'another one'.

IMHO GB2 was really good untill the ending. The end screws up the whole dark theme of the rest of the film with Vigo in the painting. The whole Vigo storyline was much darker and closer to actual ghost thrillers then Gozer, almost Exorcist type spooky... But then when they use the mood-slime to bring the statue of liberty to live, that was 360 digree turn into something childish and laughable.

the game was not based between one and two.. that makes NO sense. It was based on a script that ackroid wrote called basically "ghostbusters go to hell" witch never got a green light.
