i wonder if this is real? orangutans can't swim so if it was to fall in the muddy water it could have drowned, even though it doesnt seem that deep. would they really put it's life in jeopardy like that?

Bullshit. Monkeys are hella strong, one chimp has 5 to 8 times the strength of a human being. That sumo can most likely bench 600 pounds for 10 reps, but that sumo still lost to a female orangutan. If you were to fight a monkey, you would get your ass pwned big time.

actually, we are. Ancient humans hunted by literally running animals to death. Can you keep up a jog for 6 hours? If so, then you can run down an antelope. Just keep it in sight, (not that hard in the plains of africa) and it'll get deathly tired long before you do, because you can sweat. We were built for long-distance jogging, trust me.
