Karen and Cameron, Watching this video took me back to that magic evening. Meeting you and then hearing your beautiful harmony was something that I'll always treasure in memory. Two of the people that were part of our campsite round-up have left us since that day. Last July it was Wayne Nolan, and a couple of days ago we lost Phil Anacleto who is on the video playing his new Martin guitar. Two have gone, two have joined. Because of you guys the circle remains unbroken. Beautiful:)
Hi Nola and Delaney! Thanks for the neat comment. We'll be jamming with all the nice people at Father's Day Festival for sure. Since Nancy took this video, I've been playing everything with strings I can get my hands on, especially mandolin. I got to take Roland White's mando class at the CBA Winter Camp - and it was THE BEST, BEST, BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! Roland is so fun and smart and did I say awsome? See you all at FDF or sooner!
Hello Pretty Nana Sally. Hey, guess what? Here's something you don't know yet: I just got an Ovation double neck guitar - 12-string and 6-string! AWSOME!!! I can't wait to start recording videos of everybody and posting them, too. It will be big fun!
Cameron, I hope your Nana Sally sees your message! Good luck with your double-neck guitar...I can't wait to see your videos! Hope to see you at the fall campout in Colusa.
Thanks for posting this, Nancy - now we have REAL incentive to work on our harmonies! That's Ron Stanley with the pretty dobro solo, Chef Mike on the tub bass, and Mona's hubby Phil steady with rhythm guitar. I don't know the mando players name yet - nice guy though. Oh, what a sweet day....
You're welcome, Karen! It was great meeting you and Cameron. I didn't realize that I had neglected to credit the other musicians in this song. I have corrected that omission.
I would love to end up in the same campsite as you people. That was just wonderful to hear.

Glad you enjoyed that, and I hope you'll look for our campsite if you ever go to the Fathers Day Festival in Grass Valley.

Cameron and Mom: We really enjoyed watching this in person last year and were happy to see it being shared on YouTube.
Hope to see your family again this year at Grass Valley in June!
