I believe that this was only a water melon used.

You can make some fake blood and inject it into the melon with a syringe or something, that may enhance the effect.

he does that to line up the two tracks because the track where the man is smashing the head is too long so he smashes too late. so he deletes 2 frames to make him hit earlier

What I was doing was putting the two video clips into one. I was brining elements from one clip and putting them into the other.
