It's childish now, but the first time I ever listened to this album was on vinyl, summer night, on my parents back patio...I was very intoxicated from a nasty little drug the kids call acid. All I knew was that Ritchie Blackmore came from Deep Purple...this was the first track the needle landed on...it felt like days this song played. The moon glistened behind the silver clouds and I felt amazing. I'll never forget that. I'm sober now, but when you're a teen, you'll do anything once.
