From what I understand, Hossam Ramzy made more money from this song than any other because he gave Jay-Z permission to sample it by Jay-Z paying a stipend to the estate. After I think like 20 albums of traditional Arabic/Egyptian music, he makes the mosst money from this song. Incredible.

Ramzy probably gets the MOST money between Jay-Z, Timbaland, or whoever else gets a check in their name because of the Jay's Blueprint Album. Clearly Jay-Z has had more commercial success than Hossam Ramzy. Ramzy can probably retire from royalties off Big Pimpin. Not this.
